We tried Kris Bistro as part of Houston Restaurant Weeks - what a great surprise.Food is prepared & served by student at the LeNotre Culinary School & was excellent French fare. Definitely try the Charcuterie - the guy who made it is who served it to us. Wine list is good & with very low markup. Dicey neighborhood (I-45 at Crosstimbers) but parking is fenced. If you are fgeeling a bit adventurous, but love French food on a budget, this is your spot!
