This place has so much to offer. The decor is nice and inviting and really provides that family feel. The staff bring around various meat selections for your choosing. What's nice about the place is that it has a wide variety ranging from beef, pork, chicken, and lamb so if you have any dietary restrictions, no need to worry. The staff is very nice and will also accommodate how prepared you'd like your meat. I personally like everything medium rare but they were happy to oblige when I asked for well done while pregnant.

The nice thing about this place is that it also has plenty of options for vegetarians or if you happen to like your side dishes (which I do). There's an amazing salad bar with cheeses, fresh fruit, pasta salads, and grilled veggies. They also serve rice, cheese balls (delicious), and plantains at the table. It's a little pricey if you're looking for something on the less expensive side but it's well worth it and you definitely get value for your money. It's a nice place to go either dressed up or casual, for lunch or dinner. Highly recommended.

I've tried several of the Brazilian-style steakhouse around town and this one is definitely my favorite. The quality of the meat is a "cut" above (pun intended) the rest. The salad bar is great too- and it seems to be more fresh than some of the competitors. They've got a great wine list, but I usually skip the wine and treat myself to one of their alcohol-free lime concotions. This is more like dessert and it's beyond yummy- it's fresh lime juice with evaporated milk. Sounds strange, but you must try this tangy treat. It's not on the menu so you have to ask for it!

The atmosphere is nice to- the ambient lighting is comfortable and there is plenty of space so that you don't feel to crowded. Finally, the service is impeccable. We made a return visit about one month after our first visit and the waiter remembered my fiance's name. This place is definitely worth the splurge for a special occasion.

Very close to Galleria. Our waitress was friendly and professional. The food was delicious. If you love red meat then this is the place to come. But, they also have chicken and shrimp for those that don't like red meat.

The food and service at Chama Gaucha is amazing. On my last visit the food was a bit too salty, but still excellent. My favorites are the picanha, parmesan pork, and bacon wrapped chicken. Service is great and fast (although purposely fast to get you full and out of there quickly). Had to be reseated because a/c was dripping on my head, hopefully not on my food. Have been here before and this was first time there were any minor issues but this is just an excellent restaurant and a hundred times better than all the competition in Houston including Fogo de Chao.
