Bad, slow service with a bad attitude. Don't be fooled by the menu. It looks good on paper, but not on your plate.

I've been going to Brian O'Neill's practically since they opened. The staff are friendly and efficient, serving up a wide selection of beverages and delicious food at great prices.

Fabulous extended happy hour offers an exceptional value with several drink specials and 1/2 off appetizers.

Some of our favorite items on the menu: fish & chips, shepherd's pie, crunchy stuffed olives, and Shiner Bock battered onion rings. Can't go wrong with any of these!

This place really is great! The tap beer selection is great and the onion rings are out of this world! John (the bartendar) will provide excellent service. If in Houstion (Rice Village area), stop in a see John. Smoking is only allowed in the outside sitting area. The fish and chips was great too!

Funny that right across the street is a "chain" Irish bar, yet the value you get there is less than at Brian O'Neill's. I have been to this pub (Brian O'Neill's) many times, and prefer it over the pub across the street (won't mention names). Keep up the excellent value and service!

Have been here 3x w/ Hubs... Always a welcome break from Rice Village shopping! Service is pretty good, drinks are spot-on, & food is more than just "decent". Happy Hour (even on Saturday-?!?) was a nice surprise this time! We always sit on the patio, where Hubs can enjoy the rare cigar without complaint!

GREAT People-Watching if you snag a table near the sidewalk...Bathrooms good. Not fancy, but clean, which is important to me... Overall a nice place to stop & catch your breath... Not overly- crowded & "too" trendy, as a couple of places down the block. They also have little "Nooks" (not quite rooms) that you can reserve for a group...

Would really like to visit later in the day sometime & see what it's like at night... And have a full meal vs. apps & drinks!
