The lodge is designed like a beautiful ski lodge with beautiful trophy heads. You will love the scenic views and patio. They have a great bar as well. The venison, wild boar and antelope were outstanding plates, not gamey tasting. Sorry forgot to take a picture. We recommend reservations. The food and service is outstanding. This was our second time as a couple but I have been going since early 80's. Always great. You will love it.

Ate here for lunch for the first time since they moved from their other location. Just really loved the whole atmosphere of the log cabin and animal mounts. This would not be for everyone. The scenery is the star of the show in my book because the backyard has such awesome views!
They offer a $15 business lunch that includes soup or salad, entree and dessert. Perfect!

We stopped in very late one evening for a quite bite and ended up sharing a beet salad and crab cakes. Both were exceptional. Wish we were hungrier so we could have tried the unusual game dishes like buffalo, venison, etc. Atmosphere is lovely but the prices are quite high as well.

Had read mixed reviews but was happy with the experience. Valet parking quick and efficient; seated quickly. Business dinner for 8 and opted for the 5 course set tasting menu. Good choice! Every course outstanding with the executive chef explaining each course to us as we went. Excellent wine menu. Interesting building and décor; nice setting. Service on the whole was very good although our drinks waiter was, initially, a little slow to respond but picked up the pace as the evening progressed. Couldn't really fault the place at all.

I recently had dinner at Rainbow Lodge and the overall experience was good and the food excellent, although my steak was a bit overcooked. I love this restuarant, its atmosphere, and its menu but I have a few complaints. Before our party was complete the waiter was pushing special appetizers. We didn't bite. They also committed two pet peeves...describing specials but not giving you the price of the specials (one happened to be $50) and taking away plates from diners finished with their meal before all diners are done. Nothing is more uncomfortable than being the only person to have a plate of food in front of oneself.
