“Chinese & Vietnamese Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 October 2013

This restaurant combines Chinese food and Vietnamese food. Pho is OK, but not as good as some authentic Vietnamese restaurants. I will definitely recommend if you like both Chinese and Vietnamese food.

“Good food with decent service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 September 2013

We visited the one on Ranchester & Bellaire, as there are 2 restaurants from the same ownership. There is plenty of parking spaces, to start with. The restaurant is large, actually stretching out long, is clean, and as with most Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants wherever, is very noisy. The staff is relatively nice, and the service is fast.
The food menu is expansive, but not too expensive. Most dishes are from better than average to really good. We ordered "bot chien" (fried rice flour cubes with eggs), "com tam bi suon cha" (special rice with pork ribs), "com chien" (fried rice), and "mi hoanh thanh" (wonton noodle soup). They are reasonable in prices and good in quality.
Recommended.

“Always fantastic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 July 2013

Love that they offer pictures on various tv screens to see what the dish may look like. Menu is huge- but the quality and quantity are NOT compromised. A must to go to whenever we are in Houston

“Consistently excellent food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2013

Atmosphere isn't great and waiters sometimes don't speak great English, but the food is consistently outstanding. We eat at the Westheimer location frequently (at least 2-3 times monthly), with our favorite dishes including the hot & sour shrimp soup (it easily feeds four), the soft-shell crab, and the chargrilled beef with vermicelli. We have also enjoyed the pho and the house special rice cake (enough for two or more). We have yet to find a dish we didn't enjoy, including the Chinese dishes, but the Vietnamese dishes are their specialty.

Service can almost be too quick, so you need to emphasize to the server not to bring everything at one time, unless you want it served that way.
