Do not assume that this restaurant is part of a chain. It is one and the only one of its kind. It does live up to its name. The only drawback is that it does not accept reservations. Avoid going during busy holiday season like Thanksgiving/ Christmas. The wait can be up to 2 hr. Having said that, the bar/ waiting area is reasonably large. The entire restaurant is spacious and one does not have to bump into others' chairs and tables. Food is well displayed and is lip-smacking scrumptious. For those meat lovers-- you get to chose your favorite cut of meat. They have a great salad bar that also comes with freshly baked bread. Do not miss the desserts, especially the cinnamon ice cream, that is specially made by Bluebell for this restaurant. Their deep-dish pecan pie is something to die for. It comes with two scoops of cinnamon ice cream that you will be dreaming of for days. Last but not the least do not leave without tasting their Cinnamon Slammer; their signature ice cream drink that is served in a Texas boot mug. You get to take the souvenir boot mug home (you get a clean one).
