Traveled for business but if next time I'm in town circumstances allow it, will stay again. Service is excellent. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is fresh and as good as at home. Rooms make you feel like you are at home and not at a hotel. Highly recommend it.

I stayed here in June to use as a base to explore the greater Houston region in particular to go and see Galveston.

The staff were brilliant, the rooms fantastic and the location just wonderful. I'm one of those travellers who prefer to stay out of the main tourist areas of cities and experience what it is like to be a local.

This place had it all and more.

Sara's provides a cool, quiet, well appointed place to stay which is conveniently located to much of Houston and not that far from the rest. Parking is free and adjacent to the inn. The complimentary breakfast is fresh and delicious. If you are in Houston on business or pleasure give it a try. We will definitely go back.

Room Tip: We preferred the 2nd floor rooms and had a corner room in the rear of the house which was perfect.

Stayed here before catching our flight home. Nice location, was very quiet, just what we wanted after three weeks touring Texas. House was lovely, owners and staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good. The room (Brady) was smaller than we thought which was a disappointment plus it was at the back of the house had we known we would have booked one at the front. However, the room was clean. We would stay there again but book a different room

We enjoyed our stay in the Fredericksburg room. We liked that it was on the second floor at the very back, so it was generally quiet. The breakfast room was lovely and we were happy with all of the options. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The 24/7 brownies and coffee/tea were a wonderful added bonus. Our bed was comfortable and the room was quite clean. The shower was a bit dated and could use a little spiffing up, but nevertheless we would be happy to stay in the Fredericksburg room again. Overall, we would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone staying in Houston. We found it to be a good value and in a lovely, central historic neighborhood.
