“Thank you for making our wedding stay a bliss”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2012

The Four Seasons Houston has served the best type of service to my wedding block that stayed at the hotel between 5-7 nights.
The level of service, the personal touches, attention to detail and not to forget the smile on their faces have made my wedding week including pre, day of and post celebrations a FANTASTIC one.
I had the pleasure to deal with some of the greatest people working at the hotel and worth recognizing . Sarah Smith , Jodi Doughty, Maria Lopez, Michelle Smith and many more who have adorned our special occasion and made us feel at home with a Four Seasons touch.
I would recommend the Four Seasons Hotel , not only for it's location and phenomenal spa but also for the staff that are making the guests' stay a memorable one !

I just love going back to the Four Seasons in Houston. Have organised a number of conferences here and both hotel and catering staff are accomodating, friendly and pro-active.

Rooms are spacious, beds are good and amenities are lovely.

Location is good for downtown business and the concierge always has great restaurant recommendations. All in all one of my favourite (business) hotels.

The service was outstanding, could not have been better. The pool was small - a place to cool off but not to swim. The room service was reliable but the food - well, I just did better at Chili's at the airport. Great bed. Breakfast service was great but how can you serve smoked salmon without lemon?

We stayed one evening to see a concert at the Toyota Center!! Perfect location!! Within walking distance...a few blocks! The suite was extremely clean with very tasteful decor. The pool area was fun and intimate!! Room service....French fries....a must....order an extra because you won't want to share!!

The service is pure southern hospitality!! Friendly and genuine!! You are given a cold bottle of water upon leaving with a friendly request to return some day...we will definately be back!!

If you enjoy haning by the pool after hours...book a room which opens to pool...each room has a private niche with ambient lighting and personal lounge chairs!!

In keeping with the Four Seasons experience, the service was excellent and they had the best club sandwich I've eaten. The pecan pie was also excellent. The location is convenient for business during the day, but lacks options at night.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side have the best view

Beautifully furnished withe exquisite chandeliers throughout, this luxury hotel felt like a home away from home - right in the heart of Houston. Although the self-park garage was NOT FREE, it was suitably located, reasonably priced, and had plentiful spaces. I would avoid the valet service - too much congestion at the front entrance - and too few valets means long waiting periods for car retrieval.

My husband and I traveled to Houston for a conference and were delighted upon check-in to hear we had been upgraded to a suite in the Four Seasons Residences. We were ushered into a separate check-in area and quickly shown to our spacious and elegant apartment which featured a fully equipped galley kitchen, living room with dining table, bedroom and bathroom. While we would never have splurged to upgrade ourselves, it was a wonderful perk. The hotel is older, perhaps a bit dated (could be considered "classic"), but seems to be well kept up. The service was exceptional: we enjoyed complimentary newspapers, coffee and delicious breakfast pastries each morning in the Residence's lobby and appreciated all the advice and help with dinner reservations from the concierge. The valet at the main hotel lobby was extremely accommodating and arranged to have the hotel's car and driver take us to a conference event that was a few miles away. One of the highlights of our stay was the Tuesday evening wine tasting event in the Four Seasons wine bar, Vinoteca. We enjoyed four or five generous pours of excellent Italian wines and when my husband remarked that he particularly liked one of them, the waitress came and poured him a full glass! When we returned home we we looked up the wine he had liked so much and found it to be a bottle that sells for $85! There was also a delicious buffet of Italian cheese and fruits and crackers to accompany the wine. Very, very enjoyable! I walked through the smallish pool area and it would have been inviting if not for the stifling heat (well over a hundred.) The one downside to our stay: it always aggravates me to have to pay extra for internet access and the Four Seasons charges a daily fee for internet.
The comfortable accommodations were especially appreciated when we left the hotel to find the downtown area highly depressing: soulless architecture, somewhat desolate and grungy, and full of panhandlers. We were not 20 feet from the hotel when we were approached by a man claiming to have car trouble and looking for a handout. We took the light rail out to the museum area and Rice University just to look around and get the lay of the land but the extreme heat in June did not allow us to explore much. We ended up taking the downtown underground tunnels back toward the hotel to get out of the heat and noted very few open businesses and lots of closed/empty storefronts. Houston's downtown seems to have seen better times. Two enjoyable places nearby: The Grove for dinner and cocktails was fun and Phoenicia Specialty Foods is fun to explore (a middle eastern market cafe) and the salads and sandwiches we tried were delicious.
