We spent 2 nights at the Houstonian and attended a wedding reception on the second night. The Houstonian did an excellent job on the reception... food and service was very good and it was hot.
The bad and the ugly are the following, their bed coverings are pretty but not real functional. Discovered that we had to almost strip the bed to get the top sheet loose enough to even be able to get into the bed.
Then on the morning we checked out we called for a bellman and our car. I went downstairs to check out and my wife stayed in the room to wait for the bellman. My vehicle was already out when I got to the lobby but after a long wait for the luggage, the concierge asked me if he could help. I told him I was still waiting for my wife and luggage. To his credit, he went to the room to get the luggage. It was kind of a disappointing to what could have been a really good stay.More
