The fried catfish here at Auntie Skinner's is as good as it gets in East Texas! This means even better than at the Caddo Lake places.

The only thing that keeps me from giving a higher score is the smoke. Plan to wash (or burn) your clothes when you get home! Being that this is THE Premier Biker bar around this probably won't change.

Others have complained about the service. I have been coming here for 20+ years and only once have I had that problem.

Rude waitress. Poor quality food and very poor quality service. Although our waitress was rude, and really exhibited a poor personality and a limited understanding of what good service should be, we did notice another waitress, a bit older, who did seem to know how to take care of her customers. A bit pricey for the serving sizes.

food is reasonably priced as well as the drinks. great party place .historic area surrounding the jefferson location. lots to do and see. antique stores are plenty. and the old jefferson store is like a walk into the past.

This is a classic bar with people from all backgrounds and ages welcome - kids to older adults and everyone in between. Something fun is always going on here, whether it be live music, dancing, karoke, and TV's everywhere with sporting events on. I have been here several times, and I have always enjoyed myself. Actually, I always have a blast here, and I always manage to meet some really fun people. It is a great party atmosphere. My only complaint would be the smoke - you cannot get away from it. The food is good and reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly enough.

Chicken Fried chicken was good but it's a smoking restaurant. At night it often has live band and is full of life inthis sleepy small town, seems like the only place to hang-out at night if you are not into ghost walk.
