This is basically a show room for some of the most unusual jewelry one will ever see. The beautiful landscaped grounds surrounding the buildings are a good picnic area. The sales people are friendly and very helpful Jewelry is expensive but quaility.

Don't go thinking you might get discounted prices. The store is like any other you'd find in the mall. They do have a beautiful area out back with walking trails. You can watch the craftsmen working on the jewelry, but it isn't all that exciting.

The retail store has a wide variety of very nice jewelry and you can order custom pieces. The visitors center has a video but it wasn't working. There are a number of pictures and posters which tell the history of James Avery and his business. We were able to talk to the gentleman who oversees the craftsman working there. He explained how they made various pieces. The location is just north of Kerrville, Texas.

Stopped by on our way to Fredericksburg. I am a James Avery fan love their jewelry. I even purchased a piece a new charm. They have a video to watch as well as a room where you get to watch the craftsman work. We were the only ones there, we got to speak w Francisco who has been with James Avery for over 30 yrs. He was very informative! The grounds are spectacular!!

We stoped by here on our way in. My boyfriend surprised me with a ring he brought here for me while we were there for my upcoming birthday. Its a great place to visit and see the craftsman working on the jewelry is a must see.
