“Lovely Cottage”
Reviewed 8 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Had a really relaxing stay at The Coach House.
Exceptionally clean and the bed was so comfortable.
Loved the little welcome pack too.
Co-op around the corner and a fabulous curry house (The Spice Cottage)
Was the best curry my husband and I had, had for a long time and they deliver if you are feeling especially lazy.
Two things to point out, no dishwasher and the kitchen was freezing.
This did not bother us as we were only there for 2 days and ate out or had a takeaway.
Sandra was very quick to respond to my booking and her instructions on how to get to the property and find the key were perfect.

Many thanks for your comments. The underfloor heating in the kitchen has been repaired and the kitchen is now a very comfortable temperature, my apologies that this was not the case when you stayed.. We've also had a dishwasher installed, so no more washing up!!!

“Pleasant Garden Setting in a Village Full of Facilities.”
Reviewed 26 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Through automatic gates, over the gravel drive to ample parking adjacent to the cottage. Enter into the ground floor kitchen that's well equipped, except for a dishwasher. Main accommodation is on the first floor with a comfortable lounge, useful dining area and a separate bedroom. There's a desk in the lounge and bedroom to work at, if on business, with high-speed internet access. So, great accommodation with the bonus of pleasant village location with a small supermarket, two pubs, a fish and chip shop and a well reviewed Indian restaurant - all within a minute or two's walk - I'll be back.

It was quaint and had everything at hand. Close to pretty town and near to Emsworth. There were lots of special little touches, which added to the enjoyment. Would recommend this to all.

A lovely cottage, perfectly furnished with everything we needed, including a Nespresso coffee machine and coffee capsules. The village had every shop we required. The surrounding area was beautiful, country walks, National Trust properties, not forgetting the wonderful day visiting Portsmouth Historical Dockyard. We were spoilt for choice of places to eat out within a 15 minutes drive..

“A gem of a cottage conveniently located between Portsmouth and Chichester”

This is a beautiful detached cottage with all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay. We especially loved the fact it was within a short driving distance from Portsmouth, Chichester and Bosham. The bed was very comfortable with very little outside noise. The extra touch of having a loaf of bread, butter, jams and milk was very thoughtful. We'd highly recommend this to others looking in this area

“Wonderful Retreat”
Reviewed 29 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

The Coachman's Cottage is a fantastic place for a couple to stay to get away from it all. Excellently equipped if you plan to have a home from home stay. Clear instructions for all appliances, heating and devices. Incredibly helpful instructions for getting to the cottage and how to let yourself in once you arrive. Set in a little village within walking distance of nearby Emsworth. Great location for the whole area, easy drive to Portsmouth, Chichester and other big towns. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to friends & family. and anyone else wishing to get away for peace & quiet.
