As reviewed before it is a standard new Courtyard property but with better customer service then is standard. I left the do not disturb sign on my door and arrived back that afternoon to find a basket of fresh towels and toiletries. Was in town during the NFL conference championship games and the staff allowed us to watch the game on the large TV downstairs with outside snacks and refreshments. Will be glad to return to this property in the future.

Stayed the weekend in Lubbock and chose Courtyard. The overall stay was good. The room was clean and spacious. We needed directions to a brewery outside of Lubbock and Kyle at the front desk was courteous to look it up and print it out for us. As we left our room, the housekeeping ladies were very sweet to wave goodbye to our son in the hallway.
We were glad that they offered an indoor pool, but the water was quite cool so we didn't stay long. We've stayed at hotels with complimentary breakfast, but this hotel does not. They do have a small cafe that you can purchase breakfast and beverages. Overall the hotel stay was quite nice and we would definitely consider coming back.

For years, my go-to hotels in Lubbock have been Hilton properties, but that's definitely changed. This Courtyard is the new style with a very open lobby and a small bar/bistro, but what sets it apart is the service. From the warm welcome at check-in to the very friendly person working the bistro, service was consistently very good. The rooms are large, nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable - with plenty of work and relaxing space. Nice large flat-panel TVs with plenty of channels served up in high definition complete the space. And although the air conditioner was a bit "old school" (no thermostat on the wall, just a wall mounted air conditioning unit) it seemed relatively new, quiet, and kept the room comfortable. I will definitely plan on staying here again on future trips.

Courtyard saved us. We had a horrible experience at a hotel next door due mainly to Expedia. It was great to walk in to Courtyard with no problems, enter a clean room, and have Paul Mitchell products and Starbucks coffee! They made our stay go from Really bad to really good!

We moved here after a bad night at the Fairfield. This was our second stay here and it won't be our last- rooms are very, very clean and the ambience is friendly and comfortable. Our family of 4 was very happy with the room- enough to spread out and be comfortable. The staff is friendly and very on top of things. The location can't be beat- central to everything and yet the rooms are nice and quiet.

The place was great. I've stayed a more Courtyards than you can shake a stick at, and this one was in the top 10%. When I checked in after 8 hours of driving, the service was prompt and friendly. The was plenty of parking available and that is not synonymous with the hotel being empty. The room was comfortable, updated, and clean. The location was ideal to TTU. If Lubbock becomes a stomping ground, this is where I will stay.

My family and I were on our last leg home during a 2-week road trip. The Courtyard in Lubbock was a great choice. The pool was fine (a bit small and perhaps over-kill on the chems but good for the kiddo), the hot tub was relaxing, the beds were great and the room was quiet. We don't care much about free breakfasts, so the fact that the Courtyard doesn't have one didn't bother us at all. They had free coffee in the lobby, and that was the important part anyway! They did seem to have good options (healthy as well) in their little lobby bistro, and had I been a solo traveler I might have taken advantage of that.

As a light sleeper, I always travel with soft earplugs for rooms that have the typical window unit rather than an "apartment style" unit. The A/C was not as loud as many hotel chains, and I was grateful for that. The room amenities - TV, fridge, desk, plugs for electronics, etc. were all in great working order and well-updated.

There are restaurants within walking distance as well as a short drive away. The location feels secure and the hotel is far enough from the freeway to avoid road noise. The staff was courteous, warm and helpful. I would stay again!
