“Reality check”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 November 2013

I cannot agree with other ratings. Have been there 4 times. If you are from out of town, maybe from a bigger or more international city, the depot districts sucks. sorry. Bar hopping is practically not possible. It is just a block of bar(s). There are some ok bars in Lubbock though but the depot district is not an attraction.

“Unique and varied area near downtown Lubbock.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2013

Spent a great half day shopping. The area seems to have an eclectic collection of shops including antiques, art, glass blowing etc. Weekends during summer offers a street fair type combination of fresh fruit and vegetables, plants, artisians and whatever. Numerous restaurants with one featuring a brewery.
Of particular interest was the award winning McPherson Winery and tasting room. Our out-of-town guest even ended up taking several cases back to Colorado.

“Fun Hangout”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2013

On the weekends this is where the students hangout. There are a lot of different clubs, bars and restaurants. It can be fun for adults too if you find the right places! La Diosa is in the Depot and it's a fantastic place for those not wanting to hangout at the bars/clubs.
