We stayed at the Loop 289 RV park one night in our 42' motorhome. I was a bit skeptical about the possibility of road noise as it's on the loop in Lubbock. However there is an access road that is between you and the loop and the park is back from the road somewhat. The park offers the usual discounts, Good Sam etc., and the daily rate was quite reasonable. Big RV slots are concrete and easy to access. We had a pull through slot that was easy to get to. The park is convenient to local shopping and best of all, walking distance to Gander Mountain, a great outdoor hunting and fishing store. There is a small gate in the corner of the very nice fence that allows you to walk from the park to Gander Mtn. I enjoyed a nice stroll through. We will be back to Loop 289 RV park. We enjoyed it. Residents were also very quiet, and not much vehicle traffic in the park.
