I rented a camper cabin for a couple of nights while in town for a wedding. For $39 a night the little cabin worked out well. There isn't a bathroom in the cabin, but it's a short walk to a very clean bathroom with decent showers. The campground was pretty full, yet really quiet for the most part. My cabin was right next to the tent area where a group of young adults partied all night long both nights. I have a feeling that is not the norm for this campground. I never saw any kind of security.
The flies were a bit of a problem, but the cabin had several fly strips that helped. The campground is right next to the train tracks, but luckily the A/C in my little cabin drowned out the train noises for the most part. I don't normally stay in KOA campgrounds because the sites are so packed together. It's more of a trailer park than a campground, but it sufficed for this trip.
The drive in movie theater is right around the corner.
