Driving through Lubbock late on July 6 and needed a place to stay. First impression was great and Mike at the front desk was very helpful. Found everything to be very clean and neat. Breakfast was satisfying.

Room Tip: This location is equipped with an elevator so having to stay on the 3rd floor was no problem

Many thanks for the kind words, Jeanne! It's great to hear we were the perfect place for your quick stop through town. I'll certainly pass along your compliments to Mike — he'll be happy to hear them. Did you get the chance to try out the waffles at breakfast? We might be biased, but we think they're pretty great. I hope we'll see you again when you're back in the area.

Sincerely,

We booked this hotel based on the reviews here an were not disappointed. Large room and comfortable bed and standard breakfast.

The only less good point was the check in where the receptionist seemed to get flustered and asked me a couple of times 'how are you?' then seemed to get uppity when I didn't bother answering as i had already answered that question only a few mins before. In the end it was ok, but it wasnt as smooth as you would expect a check in to be.

The walls seemed quiet but we could clearly hear the guy next door coughing, otherwise no tv noise and quiet though.

Washer and dryer cost $2 each... ouch! most expensive we have found on our travels.

Thanks for writing us a great review! It's great to hear that you chose us based on customer reviews and that they did not disappoint! We might be a little biased, but we think our comfortable beds and hot breakfast are the best that can be found in our little corner of Texas.

Sorry to hear your check-in wasn't as smooth as could be — it seems like our receptionist was trying to make you feel at home by keeping the conversation going. I apologize if that made the transaction a little awkward. As far as the washer and dryer, we set the price based on the water and energy costs associated with high-volume laundry use. I'll certainly keep your thoughts in mind, though! Hopefully we'll see you again next time you're in Lubbock!

Sincerely,

Good place to hang the hat during Red Raider Orientation. Modern facility with nice room, amenities, and breakfast. Two cases that the staff went above and beyond: 1) Late night staff called us back to confirm availability and reservation once their computer systems came back on-line; 2) Had checkin info and keys immediately available upon arrival. Letdowns were that cleaning supplies were left in bathroom, and shower didn't drain very well.

Thank you for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm thrilled you chose us for your stay during Red Raider Orientation and that you were pleased with our staff and amenities. Travel (especially for such milestone event) can be stressful so we'll always go out of our way to make it as easy and painless as possible. I'm sorry that cleaning supplies were left in the bathroom — your room should always be sparkling and perfect by the time you walk in the door so I'll certainly address the staff about your experience. Hopefully we'll see you around more often — maybe for a Red Raider football game in the fall?

Sincerely,

One of the nicer hotels we've stayed at in a long time. It is modern and almost brand new. The TV was great and they had a lot of channels. The bathroom was large and modern, and the shower was great also. The beds were very comfortable. The location is good, as it is near a highway for travelers, but also has some shopping within 10 minutes or so if you need something to do. The hot breakfast was good enough. It definitely wouldn't give a restaurant a run for its money, but it was much better than a cold continental breakfast. The staff members we encountered and dealt with were all friendly. If we are ever through Lubbock again, we will for sure put this place at the top of our list.

We can't thank you enough for the wonderful review, Shaunway! Travel can certainly be stressful so we're happy to be able to provide you with some of the comforts of home when you stay with us. Kicking back with a refreshing beverage and a good TV show is the perfect way to relax after a long drive so I'm glad to see you took advantage of our cable options! Lubbock may be a little off the beaten path, but you should think about coming back for a football game in the fall. There's nothing like college football in Texas!

I've stayed at this hotel in Lubbock 5-6 times over the past 2 years. It's one of the top 3 in Lubbock, and probably the most affordable. The rooms are nice, the beds are great, the breakfast is very good, and the location is good.

I don't consider it a drawback, but the rooms have showers only. They may have rooms with tubs, but I have not stayed in one. The showers are very nice and very clean.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for us! We're happy to hear that you keep coming back. Did you get a chance to try the waffles at breakfast? We might be a little biased, but we think they're pretty spectacular. Next time, ask us for a room with a hot tub and give yourself a little break amid all the travel. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
