Four of us had dinner there one quiet week night. It took me back to the country dive bars from my youth. Those places were serious bars but every now and then you could get a good burger at one of them. The Texas Cafe and Bar though had a full menu and the food was surprisingly good--particularly the ribs and the bbq, Can't recommend the Frito Chile Pie though as the person in our group who ordered it paid for it later in the night.
Good food, cheap drinks, classic dive bar--what's not to like?
