“Great for a nice day”
Reviewed 2 December 2013

I really enjoyed the historic buildings, which are mostly outside and take a little bit of walking. Its a great museum and its free. The Texas Tech Museum is really close also so its easy to do them both. We take our out of town guests here and they all enjoy it.

Reviewed 29 November 2013

Fantastic! I have been there three times and it is a MUST when bringing friends. The outdoor historic buildings are wonderful to explore and fun to imagine being in those times. The indoor exhibts are equally excelent.

The National Ranching Herritage Center is a great place to learn of the old southwest of Texas and the area. Lots of great items to look at and lots of real houses lived in 100+ yrs ago

“We love going here!”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is a great place to visit when in Lubbock, TX. There are houses from different decades that are very interesting to see! The best time to go is during the Christmas open house, so much fun. It is held during the evening and there are people in period dress in each house. A must see!

“A wonderful center.”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

I lived in Lubbock for 16 years and of all the attractions this was my favorite. It really shows how tough it must have been growing up in the west in those days.
