“Tremendous visit”
Reviewed 12 June 2014

Attended a special reception at this place. Really a unique place. Well maintained, very informative. Great learning facility for our youth, lots of history. Buildings on site, train exhibit really realistic. Wish I had experience it earlier on visits to Lubbock.

“Absolutely beautiful and historic”
Reviewed 14 May 2014

I loved the history and the hands on displays. I also loved the little general store. The wild life that is allowed to flourish in the center made things so fascinating and authentic to me. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

“Lots of Old Buildings”
Reviewed 25 April 2014

There are about 50 old ranch related buildings - houses, barns, school houses, etc. I was disappointed that many had visible angle iron and modern nails and screws but otherwise it is a very good collection. See how people lived out west in the late 1800's. There is a little to see in the air conditoned buidling but the rest of it is outdoors so plan accordingly.

“Well Preserved History”
Reviewed 17 April 2014

The houses were very well preserved, and the history of each was explained quite well. I enjoyed a lot - I wish I had more time. I only had 30 minutes for outdoor exhibits (which closes an hour earlier than inside). Don't miss out the souvenir shop. I found many gift items here.
