The penguin exhibit was hyped up for no reason. Disappointed by their small habitat. My kids enjoyed the children's section. Especially getting to see themselves on TV behind the news anchor desk!

The omniplex theater at the Science Spectrum is worth checking out. The screen is a dome around the audience and provides a really unique viewing experience. Definitely worth catching a show.

I will never forget the Titanic exhibit at the Spectrum. The Spectrum brings in top rated exhibits for short periods of time. Keep a sharp eye out for those and receive a great reward/display!

This is a really nice hands on experience for all ages. There is so much to see and do, allow a couple of hours.

I was invited to attend a weather symposium in early March 2014 at the Science Spectrum. For those not familiar with the area you don't generally see much sea-life or water for that matter (the region is in a major drought). You can understand my surprise when I found out the spectrum had a huge penguin exhibit along with a wonderful hands-on area for children. The IMAX theater is in good condition. If you're visiting the area or just looking for something to do check this place out!
