Owner description: Since completing a large expansion in 2014, our museum focuses on both the history of farming and the science and technology of modern agriculture. Want to learn about cotton? Exhibits take you from early hand harvesting to putting you behind the wheel of a modern cotton stripper in the Cotton Harvest Experience. You can also meet a hologram blacksmith in our shop, or talk to a farmer in the Bayer CropScience exhibit. Bring back memories as you walk through the antique tractors or swap stories with one of our volunteers. With a huge collection of antiques and machinery complimented by interactive kiosks with videos and games, there is something for everyone at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture. I was here during the cotton harvest & very interested how cotton is processed. What is a cotton 'gin' and what does it do? I'm from the Chicago suburbs. This is the place to go! I learned so much in a fun way. Loved driving the tractor! Huge place, fascinating exhibits, wonderful staff! Can't say enough good stuff about this museum.

I always thought Bayer was a pharmaceutical company so it was surprising to see their name here. Inside are loads of tractors and farm machinery to look at. Several displays have video presentations. You even get a chance to sit in the seat of a “stripper” and experience cotton harvesting. A presentation on a farm strike that took place in 1977 was very interesting. So many tractors descended on the White House in D.C.

This is a huge musem! Many antique implements outsie and around the property. Inside are restored tractors, implements, tools in a warehouse size building. Inside museum features interesting displays on water pumps, the Ogalalla acquifer, and cotton growing.

There are all sorts of displays about agriculture on the Southern Plains. The museum is mostly housed in two large silos. The event space is large and worked really well.

After viewing the windmill museum, drove right up the road to the Agriculture museum and saw many old tractors beside the road which was enough for me and didn't go into the museum.
