We visited the restaurant whilst looking for food and we found the staff very friendly. The interior is very interesting (full of photos and information on archeological sites
). We didn't use the tour services.

Thank vinceus

Cafe Yaxha Hotel & Restaurant is by far the best deal you can get on hotels in Flores. Rooms are spacious, clean and pretty. The room we stayed in had a brand new renovated big bathroom, something important for us. Also the food is great, lot´s of exotic typical dishes and delicious breakfast. The owners are perfect host. Especially Dieter, THE expert on Mayan history at the Mayan site Yaxha, just loves to pass over his vast knowledge of ancient Guatemalan history. He also arranges exclusive tours to Yaxha with himself guiding in English, German or Spanish. The staff who works at the restaurant make you feel at home. Very recommendable...!

This place is the ONLY spot in Flores that offers real traditional food.
They have Chaya, which is a super herb that has lots of iron and protein. They make it like a Great smoothie or you can get it with eggs. It´s AMAZING!
Try it!!
Plus they also have RAMÓN, an other super food (seed flour) that´s full of protein, excellent food after walking the whole day.You can get it with cihcken and more.

The workers are great, the decoration is very interesting and the food is excellent!

+They also have a spanish school and nice rooms ;)
