“Do yourself a favour - DON'T”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 September 2012

I booked this hotel after reading the positive reviews posted here and for the first time ever Tripadvisor let me down. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in and I pride myself on doing my homework.
I'd been entrusted to book a three day stay for myself and my other half, her sister and brother-in-law and have never been so embarassed in my life after choosing this hotel.
The hotel bar was overpriced, the lobby doubled as the residents lounge and the restaurant was shocking. The breakfasts which I'd read rave reviews on consisted of some cold meat, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes and cheese in the cold section. For the hot part they served some potato croquettes, sausage and fried eggs that had been cooked in advance and left. Out of the 3 days we stayed on 2 of them the eggs were all yellow, what's that about? The bread for the toast was the same for the whole time and had not been replaced with fresh. The coffee served was tepid and of poor quality, go for the tea, it's not much better though.
The noise from the road is very intrusive especially in the early hours when the local motorcyclists use it as their own private dragstrip and you have to cross this road to get to the tramstop.
So, do yourself a favour and book somewhere else. You can't say you weren't warned!

We only stayed for a couple of nights and overall not a bad hotel for the price paid. Only negatives encountered were most of the staff were grumpy and unfriendly, the air conditioning unit
was noisy and some areas of cleanliness ie the pool tables by the sunbeds were caked in dirt. Quite noisy as it is on the main road.
Breakfast was OK, room was clean as was the bathroom although very small. Would go again although not for a long period.

pool is nice considering the beaches arent great in the area, very friendly staff and close to town 15 min walk , 5 mins on tram. very good value for money. i would recommend staying here if you are stopping over for a night going to a port/island as oppose to athens.

Our family of four stayed here for 4 nights in June. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable, the sofabed was fine for kids...perhaps not for a full-size adults. The bathroom had a shower and separate bath and was very large.

Best part of the hotel is the friendly service. The breakfast was plentiful and every day started out right thanks to a very kind gentleman named, Kostas. We are not morning people and meandered into the breakfast room and were always greeted with a big smile and warm "Good Morning/Kalimera" from Kostas- - such a nice way to start the day.

The front desk staff were helpful as well and eager to answer our myriad of questions.

One reviewer mentioned noise which I was worried about, but we had not problem (and we slept in until 9am+ each morning). Our room faced the pool, but was not near the street.

Room Tip: As I said, no problem with noise, but perhaps good to ask for a room away from the road just in case...

I really enjoyed my stay at this nice hotel in Glyfada recently ! The hotel room was large with flat tv nice big clean bathroom & of course the best feature was the spectacular seaview. Really nice location not to close to the busy Athens Center.
I would recommend it to every one for a short pass on Athens.

Room Tip: Prefer the rooms with the sea view on the top floors

I stayed to this hotel for 3 days and I am very satisfyed with my choice. Evrything was perfect. The room was very clean and big, the staff was friendly and the view of my room was very nice. The hotel is build it such a location that the centre of Glyfada is about five minutes on foot and there you can find evrything. The breakfast was also great with a wide range to chose from. I totaly sugest this hotel for your stay!
