We had a great stay for 4 split days, between going to and from the Greek Islands.
Firstly, very friendly staff, showed us were to go for shopping and food and how to get to central Athens. One particular staff member that stood out for us was Venetia, so friendly and made us feel at home. When we rechecked in she ensure the room was ready as soon as possible.
Food was decent for the price. Roof top pool was nice too. Restaurant was nice with complementary bread and dip and limoncello, at least from what we experienced.
Rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean. Glass screens blocked out the noise from the road, as it is on a main road. Aircon good and Wifi free, however a little sketchy and drops out, doesn't connect or is super super slow.
Beach is close, and the tram to Athens is also very close.
Enjoyable easy stay.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, as they are not close to the restaurant or rooftop. Towar...

Stayed here for 9 nights to attend a conference in Athens and then have a few days off. The rooms were spotless and comfortable (some noise from the road, but the glass doors screened out most of it..bit hard to find silence in a capitol city..) free wifi, free air-con...and the food was almost always of a very high standard e.g. the moussaka, salads, fried feta etc. Full marks and much thanks to Venetia on reception who went out of her way repeatedly to help us navigate various parts of Athens and undertake an island trip - she could not have been nicer. All the staff were friendly, and the rooftop pool was lovely - no problem getting a deckchair. The guests tended to be tour groups (a lot of American students - in their own words 'here to pardy' as they were too young to drink at home - bless) but they were fairly well behaved and didn't detract from the atmosphere. Drinks are a little pricey (again, it's Athens, not Malia..you are 30 mins drive from the Acropolis..) but there are many nice restaurants within walking distance (exit lobby, turn left, ignore the formula 1 drivers and walk for 5 mins then hang a left at the lovely chapel for several streets of shops and food). The beach is fine and tram/metros are workable. (As ever, watch taxi drivers..most were great but a couple chanced their arm..you get this everywhere I guess). The choc croissants and coffee at breakfast were fab - try espresso plus hot water for the best results. Again, there was no rugby scrum for the last fried egg as so often happens as the staff were really attentive in re-stocking - so, very highly recommended, thank you to the lovely staff - we hope to return next year. (Never made it to the disco!) Only room for improvement is the 1 CD at the pool bar - am still singing the songs-they may take some time to leave my head. :o)

Room Tip: higher rooms have sea view and are close to pool/bar...

My family and I took 2 rooms at Emmantina hotel early this month (July 2014) and a wedding was being held downstairs in the dining area with a DJ starting up at 11:30pm.. at 2am we were at the end of our line and moved rooms. Another night we were placed on the fourth floor and a party was being held on the roof top and we AGAIN had no sleep at all. We were moved rooms again to one on the street front where there is an 8 lane highway.- Needless to say after 4 nights of torture we left this hotel to go to another. Rooms are also old and tired. Very dissapointing stay

Room Tip: Do not stay on floors 4, 1 or on the street front!

We stayed at Emmantina 4July to 9July 2014. When we went into the hotel the staff welcome us very friendly , and although we arrived early they helped us for early check-in. The rooms are little small and old fashioned (needs to be refurnished) but clean though. Breakfast is enough. Wifi is free for hotel guests. The best thing of the hotel is location. Glyfada center is just minutes to walk, and beaches are just 5-10min by taxi. And If you wanna go Athens center You can reach easily to tram station , city takes half an hour. My stay in Emmantina was so special. Especially staff ( my dear Venetia and her collegues) was fantastic.. If I will come to Glyfada again, without thinking I will choose Emmantina.. Thanks!

Lets say, we stayed here too early. The pool was closed in march so I want to go there again now :) very close to glyfada and direct bus line a1 a2 to Athens (45min). Leaving the nice double bed hotel room in chaos to for the fantastic breakfast, coming back, and the room has already been cleaned. Bathroom and hotel bar are also above average so why not recommend it ?

We stayed here on the way back from Crete waiting for Athens the next day. We came in on a very early ferry from Heraklion and they let us check in very early. That was a super surprise. The rooms were great. The AC and balconies were great. The beds were the most comfortable that I slept in on my two week trip.

We were very near the beach and closer to the airport than downtown Athens so it was perfect for us! We had viewed Athens some on our way to Crete.

I highly recommend this hotel.
