We stayed a week and we hated it! I myself like you read the reviews as you are now and a few bad reviews out of a bunch didn't seem to be a big deal so we booked it. But don't be fooled those people are either crazy or have never stayed in a real hotel to compare it to. Our room was changed THREE times not once but THREE times!! Why you ask, due to the ant infestation. The breakfast was good but if there was ants in the rooms... makes you wonder what kind of a kitchen they have. The pool was okay but closed at 7pm... who closes a pool at 7pm people don't return to the hotel until midnight and the pool is closed. For your sake and the sake of your vacation DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT STAT AT THIS HOTEL!!

Yes - it is not a 4* hotel. And yes - rooms - and bathrooms in particular - definitely need an update. And true -it can get pretty noisy during the night.
But what you get for very small amount of money is still unbelievable - even the smallest rooms are in fact one-bedroom apartments with terrace, very clean, pool area is very good, breakfast above average, staff very helpful.
Nice beaches are 5-10 min ride and taxi is cheap. Glyfada town centre is within 20 min walk.
All in all - very pleasant budget-friendly base to explore Athens Riviera

Very good Breakfast Buffet with a huge fruit variety (depending on th season of course), but in summer season you have melon, watermelon, cherries, strawberries, bananas, kiwis, apples, oranges ! !
Very goos service the whole day.
Room service possible but it is not the main attraction, you can always ask the reception to contact one of the nearest restaurants offering great typical Greek food for 7€ ! No problem at all
Glyfada, where is the hotel located is half way between A/P and Athens city center.
City easy accessible via tramways+mero in less than half an hour!
Bus stop just next to the htl and tramway stop 5 minutes walk.
Glyfada is a place where you can eat, drink find nice terrasses, go to the movies and go to the beach. Nice boutiques.
Vouliagmeni is 10 minutes taxi ride and there are hot srings (28°C) with rocks and a huge cave!

The hotel manager is a wonderful person, happy to give you a tailored service and tries his best to meet your expectations!

Many of the hotel residents, tourists & business men often come back to that hotel because it's one of he best of the region offering for the price a great BB in a friendly & clean environment.

Bedrooms are actually SUITES! with a desk, armchair and 3xsofa in the living room (including Intl TV and fridge), and twin beds.
Bathrooms could be renewed but are definitely clean.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view on the swimmingpool. All rooms with FREE WIFI from bedrooms

We considered a hotel in the city centre, but after much consideration opted for this hotel in Glyfada. We are glad we did. It is a great location. Not too far from City centre.
It had a lovely pool too. The kids loved it. Staff were very helpful too. We had a great holiday in Athens!

This hotel has great location on Glyfada. Rooms are spacious, a little out dated, but considering price, location, amazing pool, I was very satisfied. Rooms are very clean as well as hotel.
Manager Stratos Falieros is very kind and helpful.
Tasty breakfast.
All in all for recommendation.

On its website, Oasis presents itself as a four-star luxury hotel. This is most certainly not the case, but the hotel can be a fair choice for a transit night between your Athens flight and your ferry to/from Piraeus. It is well-priced, and has a bus stop for the airport–Piraeus bus directly outside it. The hotel is clean and fairly well-kept (in a rather heavy, old-fashioned style), and it has a decent pool area. It also has large two-room suites, which is practical for families. Also, the breakfast buffet is quite good. However, it is located directly on the highway to Piraeus, which makes many of the rooms very noisy – the windows are certainly not soundproof. We knew about this, so we prebooked and prepaid a room with pool view several months ahead, through the hotel's own booking system, to have a room with minimal traffic noise. However, when we arrived, we were given a room facing the noisy road, and when we complained about this, we received no apologies, but were coldly dismissed and ignored since we were only staying one night and they were overbooked. I think this is fairly unforgiveable customer handling from a hotel that explicitly asks for Tripadvisor reviews, and would not advise anyone to book a single night with the hotel if they are not prepared for traffic noise. Another disadvantage of the hotel is that it is located quite far from Glyfada centre – maybe 15 minutes walk to shops and restaurants, so you can't just pop out for lunch or an icecream. There is a hotel restaurant and a poolside bar that serves simple food of OK quality, but the service is atrociously slow.

Room Tip: Try to get a pool view room, but don't depend on getting it.

We were fortunate enough to stay at a 5 star hotel in Athens for 3 nights with an upgraded room. When we arrived at Oasis Hotel apartements we were very disappointed and let down, no way is it a 4 star hotel. The website on Booking.com boasts of Italian furniture and fine furnishings - what a load of rubbish - Italian boot sale maybe - our coffee table was broken, the balcony was dirty, the TV was old and small and the couch not possible to sit on and have feet on floor as it was a sofa bed that didn't roll away properly, the beds were very low to the floor and were really hard. The bathroom was very small and outdated. They did offer us to see another room, but turned it down as couldn't honestly believe there could be any improvement, there was just so much wrong with the place. The lifts had horrid metal cell type doors, corridors stunk of cigarette smoke and carpet was worn out. it was a long walk from Glyfada centre and nothing else nearby. The pool looked nice but not enough to tempt us to stay
