We chose this hotel in part for location to be somewhat close to our friend and in part because of the Trip Advisor rating. The proximity was fine but the Trip Advisor rating was way too high. If you're looking for a basic hotel then this may meet your standards but that about the most positive thing I can say.

The rooms were quite small and very dated. The bathroom was so small you could only just move around. The shower was horrible. The surrounding neighborhood is run down and everything at the hotel is extra.

About half the people who work here have very poor customer service.

Hotel close to the commercial centres of Glyfada, not very far from shopping area (Glyfada center). Parking relatively easy around the hotel and there is a private parking available not far from there. the service and the amenities were ok and had a rich breakfast buffet. spacious room, good view from the balcony. Beach 3 minutes walk away. Helpfull and friendly staff. Downside: there is a fee for wifi

We were in Glyfada for a family wedding in Athens and many of the wedding guests stayed in this hotel. We all had a lovely time. My partner and I booked a superior room which was definitely of a higher standard than the other rooms we saw. It was spacious, clean, with a tidy bathroom and good sized balcony. The water was temperamental going from hot to cold as you shower but we found this to be the same in all the hotels we stayed in through Greece.

We had free wifi included with our room which was available throughout the hotel including in the pool area. The speed wasn't great but worked well for checking emails/facebook to be in contact with home.

The pool area was lovely with plenty of seating/loungers for everyone. We spent a lot of time around the pool with family and were spoiled by the staff who were always checking that we had a full glass of drink and even gave us free watermelon and chips one afternoon by the pool.
The breakfast at the hotel was adequate with cereals, croissants, fresh bread and sandwich toppings, bacon/sausages and eggs - really everything you need plus a coffee machine which made lovely mochaccinos and hot chocolates

The Sea View Hotel is located very close to the beach, supermarket, and a couple of minutes walk to the tram which takes you into the center of Athens. If you walk a couple more minutes along the tram tracks you will get to the shopping strip of Glyfada which really has everything you could need including designer shops and delicious restaurants. I got my hair and nails done at Epic day spa in the strip of shops for the wedding and they did a fabulous job.

The location is great, Good value for money, Excellent breakfast, Nice room with a big balcony. Restaurants super market and beautiful shops around. 3' walk from the beach. 1hour from Athens. 30' to the airport. The bathtube looks old and tarnished. Small swimming pool. Very nice patio to sit and enjoy a glass of Mastika liquor in summer season. We would stay again at the See vew.

There are many hotels in Glyfada but we chose this one to have quality for the price and for it's location. It is very close to the tram station but the tram takes almost an hour to reach the center of Athens, with little air conditioning..a taxi only cost us 13 euros to get to the center of Athens early in the morning to reach the Acropolis. The staff was ok but nothing special compared to all of the amazing service we had elsewhere throughout Greece. One of our party had to change rooms to be in the front of the building due to a very loud, very noisy bird nest colony in the gutter of the building on the backside that the hotel is well aware of but chooses not to "remove" in order to "not hurt the birds" but it's impossible to sleep with all the night long chattering, its very loud! Everyone complains and they can move you to another room if there is one available. The neighborhood is beautiful and so is the beach in front of the hotel but the hotel pool is very small and located on the shaded part of the building, with a small yard for sun loungers. Would not stay there again, not with so many good options.

Room Tip: To avoid at all costs rooms 311, 411, 511, 611 - the "back" side of the building. Due to...

This hotel is wonderfully close to the beach and lots of shopping and restaurants are a short 5 minute walk.

The rooms are small and consist of two twin beds pushed together with a small 12" tube TV in the corner. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions and again the beach is right across the street (although you can't see it from any windows). The tram station is relatively close and it is about an hours ride into the heart of Athens.

They did have a breakfast that was adequate but nothing special.

I would probably not choose to stay here again as I travel mainly for business and this property did not suite my purposes. The internet was costly and extremely slow.

Three beds in one room. Feels and looks like a dorm room. Small and very cramped bathroom. Beds are hard. One squeaks from just sitting on it, but that's ok, you have two other beds to chose from! Paper thin walls. You can hear everything from the corridor and the next rooms. Internet is slow and costs extra. No privacy on the balcony. You can see neighbors going in and out and hear everything. But the rates are cheap.
