Stayed for a couple of nights with my teen daughter. The owner and his son are fabulous host. The hotel is clean, neat and attractive. Across the street from "South Beach" and right in the Gylfada shopping district (think South Beach Miami). No complaints. Yes it is an hour by tram to the city. But you won't regret it. This is a very nice, ritzy location at an excellent price with a fabulous staff and a nice, quiet, safe room. And Breakfast. The city is noisy, crowded and sometimes scary. This location is peaceful, tranquil, upscale and pretty. I Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms face west so you get a fabulous sunset. Get the ocean view,

We had a really good time here. The staff of this hotel is so lovely! The room we were in was very clean and well maintained. The bed and the pillow are great, I am not an easy sleeper, but had no trouble at all here. It is near a busy road, but if you have some simple earplugs that is not a problem. In fact, my boyfriend had not problem with the sound at all. Tram and busstops are really close to the hotel, so it's easy to go places. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and everybody else!

I enjoyed this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff has English speakers, too. I understand the owner is Australian and his son also speaks English, as did one other girl we dealt with. There were also encounters with a gentleman who worked there who did not speak English, but it worked out okay. Staff was very kind and extremely helpful to us.

It's across the street from the tram line and the beach - convenient for sure. It takes about 50 - 55 min. on the tram to get to the downtown Athens sites, but the price of the hotel going off season made it worth it.

The X96 bus from the airport drops you off in front of the hotel, and you can catch the X96 bus back to the airport by crossing the street to the bus stop. EXTREMELY easy, and economical, as it's only 5 Euro each way!

I enjoyed this hotel for what it offered us the 1 night we stayed there. I probably would stay elsewhere next time only to be closer to attractions, but I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a great hotel right next to the beach.

Exactly what you'd expect for the price. Big breakfast and free internet. The owner "Steve" was quite a good and helpful guy.

We recently stayed for 1 night enroute from Poros to London. Its about 30 mins from Piraeus and the same distance from the airport . Buses and trams are readily accessible, although we shared a taxi from Piraeus so the fare was reasonable, but paid 37 Euros to the airport. The X96 services both places and stops outside the hotel, so if your traveling light use the bus. The hotel was clean and comfortable although no food except breakfast, which was continental. If you stay in a front room I would imagine the road noise would be a problem as its very busy and at night seems to be used as a race track for high performance cars! There isnt a lift which could be a problem for heavy luggage and those with disabilities. You also have to pay to use the beach.

Room Tip: ask for a back room
