“Nice boutique Hotel”

I stayed at the Margi for one night during a business trip. Unfortunatly I did not have the best sleep as the music in the pool bar was very loud but the personal was very kind and immediately offered me a new room which was directed to the garden.
The rooms were nicely decorated.
The breakfast was excellent, the choice was not very big but you could find a lot of good quality and local food.
It is located in a nice quartier not far from the sea.

We stayed for three nights at the end of April 2011 before going to Piraeus for a cruise, we very much enjoyed the hotel, it looked just like the pictures on the website. The young staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfasts were good with nice local breads and yoghurt which we enjoyed, a chef was on the buffet to cook eggs etc when requested.
Wireless internet was available at a charge, we paid 20 euros for three days, signal was good in our fourth floor room.
We enjoyed a three course fixed price dinner menu for residents which included a drink of wine or beer.

My wife and myself have been to The Margi Hotel last weekend for the last night of our short trip in athens. It was just awesome...!
After coming down from Athens by E22 bus (direct from Syntagma), we arrived in a residential area and, after few minutes, found The Margi hotel.

The entrance is representative of the hotel decoration: welcoming, very beautiful and original! It deserves its 5 stars.
As soon as arrived, the staff took in charge our luggage and also upgraded our "classical" room into an "executive" one, fourth floor with seaview.
The rooms are very clean, very well decorated with a balcony: we felt like at home. We loved the Italian style shower and the king size soft bed!
Thanks for the attentions like the weather informative letter under our door.
Just like the pictures, you can see on the website, the "public" area and the swimming pool area are very beautiful and offers the possibility to really enjoy your pina colada on the night or your breakfast on the morning!!!

Special thanks to the receptionist girl, always smiling and trying to help us.

To sum up, the hotel is wonderful and perfect for a few days holidays if you want to relax, to benefit from beautiful beaches like Astir Beach (even for 25€ per person during the weekend) in very pleasant environment.

Thanks a lot!! Hope to come back some day!!...

I heard about the Margi through friends working in shipping, and who spends a great deal of time there. I was told that The Margi is also a beautiful backdrop for a leisure trip to Athens, avoiding the chaos of the city, still in close range to get there. And I was not let down! We had an amazing time! The hotel is simply beautiful, and whoever doesnt like this place are just showing a lack of good taste in my opinion.Great stay, and lots of fun in nearby restaurants and amazing nightlife!!! I would recommend The Margi to everybody who wants a great stay in Greece, have a taste for great design, likes it cozy and who wants to have fun! Enjoy!!!

This is one of the most charming hotels in Greece. I spent there 2 weeks and liked each and every day. Fantastic!!! service, nice swimming-pool area, good food. The only thing that could be improved: some rooms need renovation.

I really wanted to give this hotel a good review. The first impression is excellent, with very appealing surroundings on arrival.
Our bedroom Exec floor 505, a reviewer has already written about this room and I can only echo what he has said. The room is only just an adequate size, it has no easy chair just the upright desk chair, maybe because there is no room for one! You could sit on the balcony but there was smoke and much noise from the room next to us which made it unpleasant to sit out, the partitions need to be more adequate. The bathroom is ridiculous, you can only just about stand in the shower and that is if you are quite slim - if you move you have a wet room literally. In many five star hotels this would be the size of the toilet. The pool area again on first sight was very nice, floaty curtains, warm colours and interesting furniture. 82 rooms or so with enough loungers/chairs for 15/20 people and that is if you are prepared to sit in the shade - I am certainly pleased my visit was not in the height of the season. Breakfast was not adequte for the rating they have, coffe was inferior quality, hot breakfast was cold as it had been left and and was not on a hot plate. However, I did enjoy the bread.
We ate in the restaurant on 2 evenings and we had a very good meal with good service.
The hotel is in a lovely area, as we kept being informed, but it is quite some way out of town with a cab ride of 15/20€ to the metro.
