I was in Athens Greece for 2 nights for a conference. The hotel is really good value and highly recommended. I was lucky to get a room with a seaview which is literally across the road which compensates well for the pool area which is rather small.

There is a bus stop about 5 mins away and it is dead easy to get into downtown Athens etc although you might have to wait a bit for the E22 buss which takes directly to the metro station which is the last stop in 20mins then you take the red line which is another 20mins to the Acropolis/Old Town.

Room Tip: Room 507 has a nice sea view!

I was in Amarilia hotel for 3 nights in May. Perfect hotel and services, nothing to comment, happy staff and extremely polite. Good breakfast which included all kinds of salads, juice, egss, ham, yogurt, fruits, coffe - swedish bufee. Cleaning : perfect services, on time and 10 out of 10.
Very close to the beach, 1 min away.
Conclusion : top services! Cannot wait to return!

You would pick this hotel if you wanted a seaside experience without being in the heart of Athens center. Easy cab ride from airport. 30 minutes and 30 euros. Good 4 star equivalent. Very comfortable. You can share the shuttle from the hotel next door to get to city.No more than 2 days here

Room Tip: Limited sea views. Location is close to marina for island cruises for small and large groups

Excelent hotel in an excelent location near the beach ideally for great evening walks. We spent five days in Amarilia hotel as the organisers of a business event. Everything was as agreed with the manager of the hotel! The rooms were very clean with a great view to the beach as well. The food was really good and arguably tasty! The coffee breaks were also really rich.
We will definately have our next meeting in Amarilia Hotel.

Lovely hotel to stay in. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and tidy. My husband and I stayed for three nights to visit family in September 2013 and was very good value for money. We had a standard double room which had a sea view, even though it was over a car park, it did not matter at all to us as we were on third floor, fantastic view of the sunset and windsurfers. The area of Vouliagmeni the hotel is in is along the beach, there are a couple of tavernas, but not much in the way of anything else. If you are looking for a bit more, i.e. tavernas, restaurants, souvlaki bars and cafe bars, a trip to Glyfada is recommended! The beach was lovely, full of families at the weekend and there is a periptero near by to purchase water and other snacks.

Overall the hotel is very good! I would suggest a trip into Glyfada for more in the way of tavernas and things to do and access into Athens etc.

Room Tip: Request a room on third floor or higher towards to sea for a fabulous view!

Our stay was very nice. Rooms were typical European style, very clean, and no cigarette smell (big plus). One negative, you could hear other guests through bathroom vents on occasion and occasional late night activity.

Free internet, breakfast included. Location is very close to the beach.

Meeting services were good, and staff was very accommodating to last minutes requests. Everyone was very friendly - thank you - Andreas, Dora and all the staff.
