Description: The restaurant's philosophy is clear and precise: years of experience, imagination and creativity seek out the best nature generously has to offer every season and evolve it into a faultlessly delicious result based on clean, authentic and imaginative dishes. The menu at Psomi & Alati changes every 2 to 3 months according to seasonally available ingredients.

We found this resturant very over priced. You will pay 10 euros for a plate of salad. A plate of mushrooms is for 11 euros. The quality of food is average. The menu of main dishes is very limited.

The food was average overall, although the desserts was quite interesting. However, the price given the food, is rather salty, with the same budget one could find many better choices to dine or have a lunch in Athens. The service is quite polite, although the "maitre", who is I think one of the owners is rather unprofessional.

The restaurant is owned by the well known chef Loukatsos so justifiably you expect something exceptionally different. It is located far from the centre of Athens, a good 20 mins by car but the visit is worth it. The setting is sparse but the menu is...exciting! Mostly traditional dishes are prepared and presented in an exceptional way and are all absolutely delicious! Salads and desserts being no exception! This is a very popular restaurant with locals and foreigners so book in advance. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. Our only disappointment on our particular visit, was the service which was UNACCEPTABLY SLOW!...It took 45 mins for the main dishes to arrive however the staff were courteous and apologetic.

the food is good and tasty but nothing exceptional. If the prices were a bit lower would give me an excuse to revisit. Apart from that, service was very good and polite, and the environment look similar to classic taverns but with a touch of sophisticated restaurants

Classical Greek food with a modern twist, not the usual restaurant that you would visit as a tourist or business traveller, but definitely worth the trip (it is not near the center of Athens). Friendly staff, good choice of wines.
