It is a very nice place. Just a few food options, but all good. Nice rooms in several buildings. There is a small beach and a really neat cave you can explore and swim around. WIfi is pricey and not the strongest.

I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and plan to visit again. It has lovely views from the rooms, a nice pool with pool bar that you can access from the pool. It also has a good stretch of beach. The grotto you can go swimming in is an added bonus. The breakfasts are lovely and the staff very friendly. It has a bus stop outside the gate (the best way to travel the island). It is close to the airport but there is not enough air traffic for this to be a problem. Wifi is expensive but that is not unusual in Bermuda.

i knew the beach was going to be small but this was very small, just enough room for the beach chairs...We liked the kayaking and the paddleboarding. The weather did not allow us to sail. We were in the all inclusive plan and stayed 5 nights. Breakfast and lunch were great. Dinners were fine too but I would not have wanted to stay longer since the menu was the same every night and there was only one main restaurant. The other one is for pizza, burgers etc. We enjoyed taking the local buses to the different parts of Bermuda. That is easy since the bus stops right in front of the hotel. We did not use the pool. It looked very small. The best part of Bermuda was that it was a short flight from our hometown.

This hotel is in a great location, quiet but central to Hamilton and st George's our room overlooked the sound it's Great for swimming being warm and very clear with lots of turtles and small fish, I would suggest all inclusive as food and drinks are not cheap and the use if canoes paddle boards etc. is recommended. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful even the cleaners and gardeners, one member of staff even came back to the hotel after finishing work to sort and print boarding passes for plane, just to save us time at the airport, that's dedication. ok so there was a slow, grumpy barman but it showed they weren't clones.
There are two restaurants with different menus form pizza, to rib eye steak to more nouvelle cuisine, we did not have a bad meal in ten days.
Finally you have to try swimming in the grotto, it's surreal and free.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Grotto Bay Beach Resort. The room (Deluxe Sea Front) had huge picture windows and a lovely view. Bed was king size and really comfy and all facilities were excellent (except for the lack of free internet access which I feel should be offered).

The all inclusive package comes with free transport passes for the buses and ferries and we used these all week. They were a real bonus. You can get anywhere really easily and just stop off at little coves and parks anywhere on the island. It is difficult to fault the transport systems, wish we had as good in the UK!

The evening meals at Grotto Bay can be taken in one of two restaurants, and the quality of food and service was first class. Couldn't really ask for more. Drinks were plentiful and there was an afternoon tea service also. Lunches were taken by the pool.

Swimming was a delight and October seems to be an excellent month to travel to Bermuda, although we did have one or two rain showers and one day when it rained mostly all day.

I would certainly recommend this hotel, and especially the all inclusive option, as eating out is expensive on Bermuda. We would love to return to Bermuda as I really fell in love with the island and the people. Many thanks for a great holiday!

Room Tip: Quite a hilly resort so may cause problems if you have walking difficulties.

We were so pleased! This small resort is located only 5 minutes from the airport and we never felt bothered by the planes or the sounds. We loved the simplicity of the entire travel experience from a nonstop flight to a simple taxi ride. The resort was perfect, great grounds, lovely lodging, lagoon and grotto with cave swimming. Our 2 grandsons were sure there was pirate treasure some where nearby, and the wild critters; friendly cats, a mother hen and turquoise lizards....magical. The staff were super kind and tolerant; June at the concierge desk gave us great ideas for the kids and she hugged us good bye. Richard at the waterfront talked with us, including the kids; he waved, joked and over all kept us feeling like part of the resort "family" . When we left, it was a gentleman at the front door who watched our bags so we could take one last run through the grounds trying to catch another lizard. Thank you to everyone at Grotto Bay for making this a really fun trip to beautiful Bermuda.
