We just spent 5 days at Cambridge Beaches. It was our first time there but have already booked for same time next year. My husband and I were looking for a place to decompress, enjoy beautiful water views from our balcony and do nothing or everything.....we got exactly that!
The accommodations are beautiful, service excellent and the beaches, views are fantastic! Restaurants were wonderful, though only 2 plus pool cafe, you can go to other venues to try different restaurants.
While there is lots to do if you choose. An indoor pool and outdoor pool, plus did I mention 4 private different beaches and lots of water sport stuff available. It is only 15 minutes from best golf course on the island.. Spa was wonderful, had a lovely massage.
The setting is such that you feel like you are the only people there, until you are at meals or perhaps at pool.

My daughter-in-law and I spent 4 nights here recently and very much enjoyed our stay.
We loved the smaller size of the property and the quality of their amenities. We also appreciated the complementary shuttle to the ferry boats, and that there is a bus stop quite close to the gates. The concierge was very nice to work with, and gave us great suggestions. Make sure you have one of Mac's wonderful drinks at the Breezes bar while enjoying the water view.

Cambridge Beaches is magnificent. My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in early June. The cottages are a little dated but very spacious and clean. Step outside the room, and the property is a visual feast. The beaches and pool area are spectacular. The dining options include eating right on the brach at Breezes, relaxing on the terrace or in the more upscale dining room at Tamarisk and having lunch delivered to your lounge chair on the beach or at the beautiful infinity pool. The concierge and other front desk staff are experts in making your stay pleasant and effortless. All the people who work here are pleasant, professional and friendly.

We have visited Bermuda many times because of the ease of travel from the east coast and the island paradise it offers. I'm so glad we gave Cambridge Beaches a shot. When we return it will always be to this awesome destination.

My wife and went for a getaway to Bermuda. It worked out excellently!
This place is like a hotel, except you stay in gorgeous pink cottages, private and quiet and very well equipped. The whole place looks like some ridiculously gorgeous village, with flowers and tropical plants and gorgeous palm trees. And then .... Clear blue ocean with sandy beaches and green shallows the color of sea-glass. Then there's a spectacular pool with incredible views of a sheltered bay full of yachts and fishing boats.
The food was really excellent, both beach-side (Beaches Restaurant) and in the main dining room. Service was very good, with an extensive breakfast spread included.
It is not cheap! It is expensive. Everything is imported and heavily taxed, but for a few days of breathtaking beauty it was worth it.

Our view was a long shallow bay, and every day around 5-6pm when we sat on our verandah sipping a wine/beer/rum cocktail we watched a kite-surfer or two doing their spectacular thing! (There's a liquor store next to the Country Squire restaurant about 10 mins away.)

You can't rent a car, but you can rent mopeds but we aren't young or foolish enough to do that. So the location at the very western tip (about 5 miles from the dockyard) is a bit remote. The hotel does run a free shuttle to the dockyard from where you can take a ferry to St George's, at the far end. We also took local buses ($4 tokens,) to play par 3 golf at the Fairmont (excellent) and from there walked to Horseshoe Beach with its pink sand. The Fairmont (for comparison) is huge and spectacular and luxurious, but the Cambridge Beaches was quieter, way more relaxed, and much closer to the water, and prettier. It's like staying at a spectacular private beach-home compared to a fancy hotel.

Everyone dresses up a bit for dinner, less at the beach restaurant. Will bring a blazer next time but totally comfortable in a nice shirt and slacks. Guests are mostly honeymooners or people celebrating their anniversaries, so a very pleasant atmosphere...

And Bill and Hillary stayed here!

We couldn't have picked a better location to celebrate my 50th birthday. Cambridge Beaches was just beautiful from beginning to end. The location of the resort is perfect. Surrounded by glorious water, the resort is quiet and serene and you have the feeling sometimes that you are the only ones there. We loved the beach and the impeccable service there. Breezes was delicious for lunch and for dinner. Where else can you go, where they bring you an ice water while you are basking in the sun without even asking. Breakfast was just amazing. Everything so delicious and fresh, the best fruit ever. We went to Tamarisk for my birthday dinner and it was top notch! Delicious! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay the most memorable and enjoyable. They all greet you with a big smile and are aiming to please. The rooms are very nice, large and very clean. We had an ocean view which I highly recommend. To look out at the scenery every day was just so peaceful and tranquil. This was our first visit to Bermuda and it certainly won't be our last. WE LOVED it and will be back to Cambridge Beaches. No question about that. This visit made such a lasting impression on us, I can't say enough positive things about it. If you want peaceful and beauty this is the place to come. We traveled with another couple and we had a trip of a lifetime. If you are interested in water activities H2O sports is the place to go. We rented a 17 foot motor boat, and don't have much experience with a boat, and it was one of the most fun days I have ever had. Boating around part of the island was just amazing, stopping at a small island to go snorkeling and we packed a picnic lunch. It was paradise! My friend and I went for a massage and it was terrific. What a beautiful facility. My husband and friend went golfing at Port Royal and said it was one of the best courses he has ever played on. Make sure you say hi to Richard Quinn, Manager of Cambridge. What a gentleman, a class act. They take so much pride in their resort and it shows! Thanks for making our first trip to Bermuda a beautiful one. We will see you soon.
