This was a great week in this lovely little cottage. It had all the rustic charm you would expect from the photo. It was quiet and peaceful, yet with easy access to Rohan, Noyal Pontivy and Pontivy itself. It was also very good for visiting the south coast of Brittany, and Josselin, a beautiful town with imposing castle, was only a short journey away.
The cottage itself was very cosy and comfortable, with a log burning stove for the cooler evenings. The garden was secluded and a sun trap, with visiting birds.
We would not hesitate in recommending this lovely property.

Both my husband and I cannot recommend this cottage enough! It surpassed both our expectations. We were looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful location and that is exactly what we got.

Les Volets Bleus was well described and the pictures do it complete justice. The cleanliness was of a very high standard and Matt and Sue's excellent correspondence was of great help. The cottage is in a good location with plenty of nearby towns to explore. However, the tranquil setting was the perfect place for us to recharge our batteries and celebrate our engagement. We would recommend staying here and hope to visit again in the future!

A really cosy cottage which is well equipped and great welcome pack. In a tranquil spot between the lovely towns of Pontivy and Rohan. Ideal for walking along the Nantes/Brest canal.

We stayed one week and found the cottage clean, quiet and well equipped. Susan was helpful & welcoming and had left some goodies: wine, bread & cheese etc. The information book was comprehensive & we particularly enjoyed the fire every evening. The cottage was well located to explore Brittany and we made day trips from here to Mont St Michel, Ile de Brehat, Quiberon & Hennebont. Most days we went to a local market.
