“only place we go to in avoriaz”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

It has the best terrace for the sunny days and the daily specials are great value for money. There is a large selection beyond traditional french and regional fare including sushi. Service is always efficient and pretty fast as well as pleasant.

“Off Piste”
Reviewed 5 March 2013

Le Bistro is ideal after knee burning in the Portes du Soleil.
Generous raclette or tartiflette followed by a Nutella based fondu with marshmallows and fruit to dip into it. Sounds excessive and it is! Gloriously so.
Excellent service seemingly led by Anne Sophie.
Book it!

“Different food but higher prized”
Reviewed 21 February 2013 via mobile

I was in this restaurant with 2 families including teenagers. Menu is clearly not touristfood and well appreciated by the adults. For teenagers a bit of a stretch. Prizes were higher end. Including the wine list. I recommend not to go here if you are looking for a quick evening bite with kids that have limited menu options. I can see great dinner for 2 though.

“Poor service!”
Reviewed 10 February 2013

6 of us ordered the fillet steak, Expensive especially when you only get a small fillet and abit of freezing cold potatoes. I had read that unless you bought the wine that service could be slow. Even though we all bought alcoholic drinks and ordered 6 fillet steak at 32 euros they still asked whether we wanted wine and the food took 50 minutes to be served. I left this restaurant as hungry as I went in and would not return.
