Fantastic little restaurant with superb service: the female MD was excellent - spoke vaguely passable English and unlike a lot of French seemed happy(willing, even) to do so. The food was awesome. On the wine front, they had run out of the recommended white so suggested a replacement. Due to its higher cost we were upgraded on our red wine selection for no additional cost, so we had the best of both worlds.
I had a mushroom on a bed of pasta with truffle oil as a starter and it was excellent. I had duck parmentier as a main, which didn't wow me as much as the starter, but was still very good. I was with 8 friends and not one of them had anything other than good words to say.
