we stayed at your chalet from 22jul to the 5aug
we were part of a group that had come for three weeks from 20jul till 8aug.
we were told that we would have to pay 250euro for cleaning after we left.
I think we ought to be paid this money for cleaning the place when we first came in.
The toilets were NOT clean. The dishwasher was blocked and there was no control panel on the front so we could not use it.The kitchen sink was leaking and on the first morning we discovered the kitchen flooded.
The steps leading up to the chalets are also in very poor condition.
They are especially very dangerous going down with a child in your arms and very slippery when it rains.
the area is very beautiful with lots of mountain walks.

Room Tip: go find somewhere else to stay

Dear Sir/Madam,
We regret that your stay in our chalet was not up to the level we hope to provide. It is very unfortunate that a series of maintenance and upkeep problems occurred during your stay and we sincerely apologise.
In the inter-season period we have now embarked on a major “spring clean”. Many of the chalets and apartments have some of the interior painting redone and other general modifications to improve the overall experience for our guests. You should know that we take note of the comments of each of our clients, and we always pass them on to our management team.
We hope that with these changes in place you will consider staying with us again in the future.
Thank you for your understanding.

I took advantage of a great late season bargain and was pleasantly surprised. The accommodation was fairly basic but always warm (log fire helps with that), clean and friendly thanks to our fellow guess and our always cheery Ski France host Zac.

The bed rooms were fairly small, not that we spent much time in them due to the great late season snow (fresh powder almost every), but overall the whole Chalet had exactly what you needed with comfortable living space in communal areas to chill out after a day on the slopes.

The food provided by our host Zac was always of a high standard and he was happy to accommodate our needs if we wanted things changed around or if seconds were requested by some of those with larger than average appetites within the group.

No only was our host a good cook he was also happy to make recommendation on the things to do and see within resort including all of the best places to enjoy the Après Ski. At times he also doubled as a guide for a days skiing or boarding with guest of varying ability and felt at times he felt like an old friend rather than a Chalet Host.

This accommodation does exactly what it says on the tin, it isn’t by any stretch of the imagination high end, but it is tremendous value for money and is ideally located within 100 metres of the slopes for those who want to get away and enjoy their time out on the mountain rather then sat in doors all week.

I would certainly go again, even in the last week of the season the snow was amazing!

We travelled to La Plagne mid-April with a group of friends. In terms of the Chalet, it is basic but when considering the price paid it was very reasonable. We always had hot water for showers and the chalet always warm so was very comfortable after a day’s skiing. The rooms are small but there was plenty of room for 2 people especially when we were only using it as a place to lay our heads and get changed, it was also very quiet in the evening so always had a good night sleep.

Our Host Zac was a great cook and every meal was very enjoyable; he was also very quick to replace anything if we ran out. He interacted with us all very well and made the evening meal in particular a more enjoyable time. He became a part of the group with us in terms of going out onto the slopes once he had finished his morning service. He acted as a good guide for all the guests in our chalet, being able to give people of different ski experience tips on where was best to ski/ snowboard.

Zac’s boss Murray provided great support for his team especially in terms of supplies when they needed them at short notice. There seems to be a great team spirit amongst them all.

The location of the chalet is really good, it’s very close to everything that we needed, such as ski hire, the supermarket and gift shop, bar, great restaurant’s and the bubble down to Plagne centre and the bus stop. We had 2 beginners within our group (one being me), and it was a short walk to ski school which was very handy and the access to the slops (of all types) was all very close.

We would defiantly go back again!

Location: Couldn't be better, 200 yard walk a decent slope (even closer to a beginner slope), pub practically next door as well as a small supermarket and a couple of good restaurants. Bubble down to Plagne central literally outside the door.

Host: Zac is a great lad and we had a good laugh with him all week, just my kind of person and a decent cook as well. Enjoyed the food and particularly the wine.

Accommodation: Bargain price paid and bargain accommodation received. The rooms are small yes as a previous reviewer has said but for me on a ski holiday the room is for sleeping in and nothing else. When i went in the room i slept well, what more do you need.

Overall, thoroughly enjoyed the trip and wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

This is a budget, no frills chalet. I booked with Ski-France & I believe it is one of their chalets. This was my first chalet experience and probably not one I would wish to repeat.
The location is good as you can ski pretty much from the chalet (after negotiating some icy steps). It is handy for the cable car to get to La Plagne Central. There is a small supermarket close by along with a bar and a very nice restaurant. There is also ski hire and ski lessons in the same area as the shops.
The place needs a good clean and some repairs are required. The upstairs bathroom seemed to have no functioning extractor fan and no window so it tended to smell a bit musty & damp. The shower screen was broken in part so a shower curtain had been installed but it was too long so kept blocking up the plug hole.
The bedrooms are all small with little storage room, especially if you’ve brought a big suitcase. The beds were comfortable enough. The curtain in my room was also in need of repair so I had to improvise a suitable replacement.
I was there a week in March and as far as I can tell the bathroom I used was not cleaned at all during that week. The communal areas were also grubby, as was the kitchen. If you looked in the fridge or the cutlery drawer it was pretty grim. The pottery in the kitchen needed replacing in some cases as some of it was chipped. The problem with binning anything broken was that there then wouldn’t be enough to go round.
The communal sofa seating area is not big enough for everyone to sit. There are 6 seats on the sofa yet the chalet sleeps 10. The sofa is also in need of repair as I lent on an arm and discovered it had no support.
The chalet host (Zac) is a friendly enough chap and the meals were all fine. Be prepared though to make your own cups of tea etc in the morning and probably wash mugs etc. We did run out of things (milk, cornflakes), however, so no efficiency awards there.
