Its a good hotel, although a little expensive.
Served its purpose for a ski in/ski out.
Offers good ski/snowboard accomodation.
The downside was the wifi/internet was not working during most of stay.
The location is very good.
The Sauna was quite good as well.

Stayed here the week after Easter. Found all staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and our children we given an interconnecting room with ours which was great. Endless hot water, always a bonus after a hard day's skiing and a perfect location for in/out skiing.
The food was good hotel fare (we were on a half board package) with excellent choice at breakfast. Dinner was always good although the children didn't enjoy the kids' menu, finding the pasta, nuggets etc disappointing. The buffet desserts got a bit monotonous and lacked the creativity of the starter and main courses, which were always well put together.
Would definitely stay again if we revisit Les Menuires.

My boyfriend and I booked in here for a couple of nights for a weekend ski break and were reasonably impressed. The ski-in, ski-out location was a huge factor when choosing the hotel and it is a big bonus. Plus, there are nice, clean lockers (with keys) for all your gear. The lobby and decor throughout is pleasant and modern and all the communal areas are welcoming. The reception desk staff were helpful although not hugely friendly, as is often the case in french hotels, I find. We had a standard room which was very comfortable although right on the bottom floor of the hotel, (reception and piste access are on levels nine and ten) which meant that we looked straight out onto the road and car park. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed, with a separate loo next door. The beds were very comfortable and had lovely quality linens and there was plenty of wardrobe space. One small complaint was that our room was not cleaned or the beds turned down while we were there which I expect in a hotel of this sort. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu looked great and apparently the hotel has a reputation for good food.
All in all a nice hotel and had it been fractionally less expensive I would probably be giving it four stars rather than three. If you can get a good deal - go!

Room Tip: Make sure you have a room on floor three or above.

This hotel did not live up to my expectations and I'm not sure why so i will list a few plus and minus comments.+ nice clean modern decor, - small bedrooms with separate room for bath/shower and toilet. The toilet was the size of a small cupboard so quite claustrophobic. + extremely friendly staff in reception, restaurant and bar.+food, 3 course dinner with a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and desert buffet, for a small supplement you could have steak or cheese fondue. portions were small ,very nouvelle cuisine style. I enjoyed the dinners 50%of the time. +breakfast was good.+ski in and out.- a big minus is that there is no swimming pool and they don't offer massages. The pool is being upgraded and i was not informed of this. I was a little disappointed. + bar area lovely with nice cosy open fire. - for me the place lacked atmosphere so for that reason i don't think i would return.- i didn't like it was good value for money.

Room Tip: locker rooms are on 10th floor as well as access to the slopes. reception and the dining room are on...

I booked in Les Bruyeres because of all the enthusiasm on Booking.com and TripAdvisor at the time but now that I've been there I'm really wondering what the fuss is all about. Since the hotel can't quite make up its mind whether to call itself a three- or four-star establishment I suppose it's okay to leave that open when it comes to service. On arrival no one will help with luggage and since there is no designated car park and skiing does require a lot of gear, arrival at Les Bruyeres is definitely a bit of a hassle.

Once we had lugged our stuff to our room I was slightly disappointed to find out that what they sell as a Superior Double Room is actually no more superior than its inferior colleague might be but they sell it with an extra bed and I suppose that makes the difference. I can do without a flatscreen when I'm on holiday so that doesn't cut it for me but that's a personal matter. The mini bar, which is said to be included in the price is empty. One does have the option though to buy a set of soft drinks at the reception for € 15,00. I recommend the local supermarket across the street - it will cover a lot more for the same price. The slippers and bathrobes are a nice addition and I only mention those because you don't get them if you don't book a Superior Double Room. Other than that the Superior Double Room just about holds two adults and their luggage. The panoramic view is just that once you overlook the main street in between the view and the panorama, the beds are a matter of taste, not mine so no further comment there and the air is so dry that it makes your eyes sore.

Breakfast is not included and even if perfectly adequate it is not a pleasurable experience. The bit of service there is is bad and not because you don't get what you want but since breakfast is basically self-service - from coffee to croissant - the staff will make you feel that you're actually burdening them if you need anything extra. Like a napkin or a teaspoon. And in addition it is simply not a nice place to spend time in since it has the charm of a canteen or a conference room.

The ski-room is so tight I advise anyone with claustrophobic tendencies to avoid it but once you're actually out in the open and on the piste Les Menuires does provide some great skiing!

It's my second time in Les Menuires and if you're looking for a hotel in that area I strongly recommend Le Chalet Du Mont Vallon. It might be a little bit more expensive but - at least while I was there - far more worth it.

Stayed in Feb half term, hotel not too busy, good check in, good rooms, nice bathrooms, comfortable beds, flat screen tv, balcony with a view. All good there.

Ski lockers on 10th floor with individual lockers, but no heated system for boots. can get crowded in morning but everyone polite. nice sit down area to put on ski stuff, 20 meter walk to slope then either up carpet lift down to ruberty lift, or 50 meter short pole and ski to gondola.

Conditions were exceptional, lift queues only first thing in morning otherwise strangely quiet. Best run was verdonts that you can only get from the roc de fer then olympic chairlift from meribel was amazing, skied this with no one else on several times. Jerusalem also amazing and cruex in courchevel.

Breakfast good, but evening meal was a let down, having had fantastic food on mountain the hotel was half as busy and produced food that looked good but tasted blah, meat always undercooked and fish overcooked. The waiters were all very fast, friendly and efficient.

Pool closed but so what?

Lots of good restaurants in les menuieres.

Room Tip: Go B&B only, eat out for better food

Having already stayed in this hotel once, we didn't hesitate to return with a group of 11 friends for this year's ski vacation. However, we were rater disappointed as several of the facilities that made our last stay special were now closed: the outdoor pool with views of the show-covered mountains was closed as was the possibility of ordering massage for your sore ski-legs in the spa area. None of these changes were communicated to us as we made the reservations and furthermore we were Down-graded to smaller rooms - but none of this was reflected in the rate, which was unchanged from last year.... in my view NOT the best way of showing returning guests that you appreciate their loyalty.
