We stayed at this hotel 8th to 10th February 2016. We received a very warm welcome, the couple that run the hotel are extremely nice and the rooms are great. It warrants a much higher rating than 3 stars. The food in the restaurant is of a very high standard. The views from the hotel are fantastic. We totally recommend this hotel. Make sure to book the restaurant it is very popular.

We had a great experience in la ferme de cupelin. As we arrived late (after midnight) we were still able to enter the hotel because of the preparations they made.
We really felt welcome and the entire staff was very friendly. The food is great and the breakfast includes freshly squeezed orange juice! The drive to the Bettex ski gondola is just 5 minutes with free parking. A perfect cosy friendly spot with good food.

€32 fixed 3-course menu with wine and aperatif came out at something like €60 a head. Very lovely food, perfect portion size, charming service, EXCEPTIONALLY pretty interior; all creaking wood, open fires and cow-skins. Also a very pretty location further up the hill overlooking the value and Mont Blanc. Tables outside with rugs and candles too. Really lovely spot and would go again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is above St. Gervais-les-bains. It's easy to find. We didn't have a car and walked from the bus station to the hotel (there are good paths and shortcuts). The rooms are cozy and romantic. The hotel has no spa. The food is exceptional. The restaurant is famous and well known in the valley. Staff is friendly. The value is great. We definitely plan to come back.

We stayed there for three nights with our three year old son, as the first first venue of our French alps vacation, and while this is really the most dreamy getaway for romantic couples, and all other guests were of such nature, I felt that they went out of their way to accomodate our tourist and family needs.
Beyond the amazing design and style (if u absolutely love anything in the room, the small artifects used are for sale at reception) they provide excellent service, a good breakfast, and an exceptional dinner in their restaurant (be sure to book in adbance, we almost didnt have a table). I have stayed in several excaptional hotels before, and this hotel well desrves to be included in my hotels' hall of fame.

Three important tips:

A premium room is nuch bigger than a regular one. Consider it if you are more a couple. We definately needed the extra space with our son. For a couple, the regular room is perfect and sufficient.

The hotel/resto is uphill from the city center and is by no means in walking distance. A four-five minute drive downhill will get u to St. Gervais' city center, but you can only consider this hotel if u are arriving there with a car.

There is no elevator and the rooms are up the staircase from the restaurant and entrance floor.
