Warm and friendly. The owners couldn't have been more helpful. Central location, no parking - but plenty of free parking 2 mins walk away. Good continental breakfast. Good price.

The rooms at the front have balconies with nice views into the street/ square.

As far as French ski accomodation goes this place offers excellent value for money.
We had a first floor room with balcony. It was compact but functional and the bed was comfy.
Bathroom was satisfactory and all worked perfectly.
The view from the room was great and having the extra space to have a coffee in the morning or a night cap was a real bonus.
The owners were lovely and very welcoming.
I was considering giving this a 3/5 for the following reasons but the price and friendliness of the owners means it's hard to justify a lower score.

Areas for improvement:
- the rooms are poorly (sound) insulated and you can hear the guests move in the rooms above and below. Every door that is closed or heavy footstep resonates into the room.
- alot of doors and floorboards creak meaning again there is alot of noise coming into the room first thing in the morning.
- the hotel is very hot. We turned radiators off and slept with the door open.
- ski storage is only a disused storage shed with no heating, so unsuitable to dry boots etc.
- cleaners start early and are not the quietest.

Fortunately the sound issues were not too much concern as we were up early snowboarding. At night the hotel was quiet.

I suspect during the next refurbishment these areas could all be addressed relatively cheaply (fixing creaks, insulating between floors, adjusting heating and sorting out the ski storage).

Overall exceeded expectations.

Great little hotel right in the middle of town and only 10 minute walk from gondola
Good quality breakfast. Comfortable bedrooms
I broke my ankle, and they were extremely helpful to me , in getting around and bringing me my breakfast. They couldn't have been more helpful
Very welcoming. Good value
They don't do dinner but there are lots of great restaurants virtually outside their door.

Room Tip: One with a balcony

Good sized rooms for a ski resort. Right in the centre of town so minutes from all the main restaurants and bars. 10 minutes flat walk to the lift.

Generous and tasty breakfast buffet style. Nicely presented so only 2 stars because it doesn’t have a lift.

Simple bar area but the coffee and wine is good.

Owners are absolutely charming and very helpful. One of our party broke her ankle day 1 and they’ve really gone the extra mile to make sure she’s comfortable.

Really can’t recommend this highly enough.

We have just returned from a 4 day Ski trip to Saint Gervais and chose this hotel as our accommodation, it is a great place to stay a short walk from the main gondola and has free parking over the road.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and our room had a lovely south facing balcony, we paid the extra €10 a day for a lovely fresh breakfast.
The owner Christoph was very helpful and friendly and speaks perfect english.

We will most certainly return if skiing in that area again
