We had stayed at this resort many years ago and had good memories. This holiday we booked 2 Elite apartments for the seven family members. The accommodation was ideal. The resort location is very central - the beach is 10 minutes away and the lovely Paloma Parque and Selwo Marina are also only a short walk away. My daughter & family visited the water park at Torremolinos and enjoyed their day out. My wife and I enjoyed a guided visit to the Mezquita in Cordoba and days out in Malaga and Gibraltar. Restaurants locally are plentiful and as cheap or expensive as you wish.
We opted to have breakfasts at the clubhouse each day and enjoyed them very much - the only criticism being that beverages and toast were not freely available, items like these are inexpensive and we feel they should be on a self serve basis.
All told a lovely holiday we hope to return soon.

We spent week 34 here in a 3 room apartment. We were 4 adults and 3 small children.

Apartment
The apartment size is okay, with a very large balcony. On the balcony there where only a very small round table for 4 persons. Not very good when the apartment is for 6 persons.
Our apartment did not have any aircondition, but many of the others had. It did had fans in the ceiling, but that did not save my night sleep... it was way to hot in the rooms !
Our apartment was missing pans, and we had to go ask for them.

Hotel
The Hotel is located 5min of walk from the beach on a mountain hill. The road around the Hotel is very steep ! So if you a bad walking, this is not the hotel for you ! There are many stairs in the hotel, so small children and old people should find something else.
We only got cleaning 1 time during a week, which is to bad... Hard to get towels clean.
There is a small restaurant by the pool area, and also a British bar called Sams Bar.
Just across the mainstreet there is a huge supermarket, where you can buy anything.
The hotel has an employee that has a lot of activities for the children.

WIFI
Normally I rate this in the hotel section, but here it desveres its own section !
I have tried many bad hotel Wifi, but this is by far the worst ! The Pueblo Evita Wifi is free in the public area, pool, restaurant, but it does not work very well with Iphones and Ipads. For a week, I think I got connection 2 times with my Iphone. We had to use Sams Bars Wifi, which is also free, but changes the password all the time. But the turn of wifi when there is football in the television... OMG ! I know I am on holiday, but I like to check my mail and facebook once in a while....!

Pool
What a nightware....! The poolarea opens at 9am, but you have to be there 8.30 and stand in line, to get a sunbed. People runs like crazy to get sunbeds, and 9.02 very single sunbed is occupied. You are only allowed to occupie a sunbed for 1 hour, otherwise your towel will be removed, but many families took 5-6 sunbeds, and then 1 familily member was sitting there half a day to watch the beds, so the towels would not be collected.
The pool area it self is great, and nice the sunbeds has to be within the white line.
You are not allowed to jump into the pool by the lifeguard, but once a day they play waterpolo, and throws the ball all around.... I was sitting in the kids pool playing with my small kids, and got the ball in the head.... !! This is irresponsible with small kids just behind the goal !

We had a good holiday, but expected more after reading reviews here on tripadvisor.
I can't recommend it.... and surely will not come back !

Thank you very much for sharing your holiday experience and we are pleased that you enjoyed your holiday with us.
We are sorry however that some of the aspects of your vacation were less than you expected.
We do have apartments with air-conditioning available but not all do and the week you were with us was particularly hot which sometimes happens here in July and August. Also we are aware that the WIFI is not as good as the service that you enjoy at home but we are waiting for a dedicated fibre optic line to be fitted in the coming months and this should solve the problem.
We do try to manage the use of sun-beds and you are entitled to use them all day long. However if you leave them unoccupied for more than an hour we reserve the right to remove towels and allow other users to make use of them. Unfortunately at the busiest time of year we find that this is the fairest way as we cannot predict how many people will want sun-beds at any time.

We had a lovely holiday here. The room was basic but it was perfect for us having two children, one under 3. We were situated close to the pool. This is a timeshare hotel and some rooms are to a higher spec which we were taken round but we were happy with the one we had. There was entertainment but having small children we didn't go to it but were quite happy sitting on the balcony listening to it. About the only criticism would be that below our room was a service area/work shops which were in operation quite early in the morning. The location is not good for the disabled as it is situated on a very steep hill, it was a bit of a problem with a buggy but it certainly improved my biceps. The pool had a nice paddling pool but the main pool was extremely deep. On the whole a very good holiday.

Took the whole family on a holiday to a new timeshare we had just purchased very excited but we didn't feel it was quite up to standard. The property was in excellent position 10 mins from the beach with a large supermarket with good prices opposite. Complex was very welcoming and generally looked clean and tidy but our appartment was up lots of steps which helped to keep the weight off but was very tiring for the children. When we got to the apartment it looked very tired and needs a little updating the sofa bed was inadequate for adults. The restaurants on the complex were very good with Sams Bar serving cheaper meals for families and good entertainment in the evenings and The Clubhouse catering for the more discerning palete There were plenty of eating houses on the road leading to the beach with Harrys Restro serving a lovely curry and Oriental Palace serving a good 3 course chinese.
Overall a good holiday was had but just not as good as we first expected

Room Tip: If you are taking children check where the room is as it could be up lots of steps

We have to going to Pueblo Evita for over 20 years on and off. Having just returned this year I would say it was as good as ever. It's a friendly resort and always has been. We wouldn't have returned so many times if it weren't. The issues with people grabbing sunbeds and the leaving the towels on there for hours is not so much the resort's fault as selfish guests. There is a rule to remove them after an hour and one of the lifeguards definitely does but not all do it, so people should do it themselves and not feel bad. There are two pools and the top pool is never as busy so that's another option. The Clubhouse was very pleasant this year having had some refurbishment. The food was varied with themed food days and good quality and value. We found the waiting staff attentive and pleasant. They even specially made an iced coffee Frappacino for my daughter each day despite not really knowing what it was until she explained and they made it to order. The resort is well maintained and if you have any issues with the apartments Reception staff are very helpful. Most things are resolved within an hour of two of reporting anything. The children's activities are run by a tirelessly cheerful lady who also organises some adult stuff too. She chats to everyone and the children love her.
There are lots of excursions you can go on and the reception staff are only too happy to book these for you and give hints and tips on local travel, buses, trains etc. There is also an on site manager Roy who will sort out and find out anything for you. You only have to ask. I would say that whether you are a couple or family, most people will have a really good holiday there. I say most because some seem to find things to moan about regardless, because they enjoy it.

Room Tip: The blocks around the main pool are most poular but the best views are higher up the site.

First time staying in this resort, stayed in a private rental.

Only two critisims; Too many steps, for my liking, but has not put me off returning and it says that towels will be removed after an hour of no one on the sunbeds, but this is not inforced, but again has not put me off.

The Clubhouse and the staff are excellent and definately not rude!! I don't know what some customers did to them but we found them to be anything but rude.

Only went in Sams Bar once but again the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lifeguards, other than the towels, seemed good, although one day they wanted us to sit pool side or be in the pool with the children, even though they had spent most of the week in their by themselves as we sat in the clubhouse, maybe if the lifeguards did remove towels there would have been somewhere for us to sit, poolside. Childrens entertainer brilliant and very energetic.

We all loved this resort and complex and all want to return next year.
