We stayed for seven nights in a Dinoland suite which was absolutely great for a family with a seven year old child.
The apartment consisted of a large bedroom with two beds, a lounge withTV, play station and dining table. There was also a reasonably equipped kitchen and a large bathroom.
The room was comfortable and in a quiet part of the hotel.
We had booked all-inclusive. The food was of the highest standard with plenty of choice.
The staff are very polite and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
We used the Beach club every day and it was fantastic. Our daughter also enjoyed the Children's club.
There was a childrens disco every night followed by live entertainment. The only negative side was that the children's disco doesn't start until 9.30 and the live entertainment starts after 10.30 - it's a shame that it starts so late.
We would definitely recommend The Holiday Palace and intend staying again next year for 14 nights.

I saw this hotel when staying in Benalmadena last year but we stayed somewhere else. Can somebody tell me if the kid's club will be open in October half term? Thomas Cook is not answering the phone in the UK - no a good sign! Half term in the UK is the last week of October/first week of November. Also- what are the hours of the kid's club each day? And is the Kid's Club free of charge if we book bed and breakfast? Or does it have it be evening meal as well? Will there be evening entertainment for adults and children at that time? Our flights are already booked but we are choosing between this and the Benalmadena Hotel we stayed in in February, The Benalmadena Palace Aparthotel. The kids club was open all day here and in the evening in Febrauary so we know we will be okay on late October. Thanks, Joy.

Room Tip: It was closed when I looked in last Feb but it looked amazing so I would like to visit this hotel. But not with bored kids, as the location is quite isolated.

Dear Sir,
In answer to your question I have to report that our hotel will remain open until October 31, which day to keep our mini club open to all children (from four years old) in all-inclusive service.
Likewise, each night there will be entertainment for adults and children's mini disco.
I also would like to inform you that if you are interested in a longer stay can perform the same at the Hotel Polynesia in our same complex and with similar characteristics.
I hope I've helped.
Please contact us directly if you have any further questions arise, you can find our contact details on the website of Holiday World.
Best regards.

Stayed at the Holiday Palace from 17th July to 24th July AI family of 5 (Myself, my husband and boys aged 13, 4 and 1) The hotel is apart of the Holiday World group, so within the resort is the Polynesian and Holiday Village. The resort is set slightly on a hill and is closed off with security on the resort gates, which i found quite odd when my mam and sister came to visit. That aside what a week we had! The reps are Spanish but very good at what they do, they encourage people to get involved without being too "in your face". My three boys (even the baby) got involved in water games and enjjoyed some of the evening entertianment. If it was a little warm the children could go indoor in the soft play which was a welcome cooling off period for them.
The Hotel itself is fabulous - the restaurant is excellent, however there was alot of fish on offer all of which was delciious though! the boys loved the chocolate fountaina nd having pancakes made and the fact they could drink as much fizzy pop and eat as much ice cream made them happy! The hotel is lovely, spotless and the rooms very good - however they are not as "flash" as the pictures suggest which was disappointing. the bathroom on the other hand was huge with 2 showers 9??) which proved useful on an evening.
Another good feature was there was always the opportunity to get food or drink, there is designated times to eat but you can always get a sandwich from the bar or outdoor pool bar - fab !
We visited the Polynesian hotel which was gorgeous but HUGE. The AI doesnt work here but you can visit and use the facilities.
The water park is a short walk (5minutes) and there is a shuttle bus avaialble every 10minutes. The pirate ship is great but freezing, and the rets of the water park is just so much fun! we visitied nearly every morning and spent the rest of the afternoon at the hotel! You can use your AI here but need to book into the restaurant the day before as it gets so busy
Major downside for us was it was too far out to go for a walk which we really enjoy doing. we did get a taxi to benalmedena marina which was fab and lots to do, lovely places to eat but im not going to lie EXPENSIVE £13 for a margherita. Nice for a treat though
all in a ll a fantatsic holiday and id return tomorrow !!!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are fine !

We came here after being relocated by Cosmos holidays because the access road to our Villa in Frigiliana was just too scary for regular use. Michelle from Cosmos was really helpful and found us this lovely hotel at short notice. As previous comments state, great friendly helpful staff, good food and plenty of it, nice location and facilities. The beach club is spacious and uncrowded and the rides are very safe and tame, so don't expect any hair raising flumes. Wave pool swell is quite scary though! A Regular shuttle bus is useful for the beach club and exploring the other hotels in the village.Entertainment is generally quite good and the kids mini disco is fun for most.Magician is good but his balloon modelling and audience interaction is excellent.Reptile show is good too and if there for 2 weeks some of these acts are worth seeing twice. All inclusive alcohol and snack are the usual standard and ok for the purpose. We enjoyed one early evening free Mojito cocktails being served by the pool, and these are freshly made but very popular. The Spa is good with a big pool, but you need swim caps, so take them with you or buy them for 3 euros each. We used the Spa every day and its not busy and is a welcome respite from the intensen August sunshine. To use the spa at the neighboring hotel Polynesia is 5 euros and its very small so stick to Holiday Palace its better! Its mainly Spanish holiday makers here but we found them mostly to be very polite and friendly although some stay up later than the Brits! Only a few of observations for improvement, they need two toasters for breakfast, as there is always a small queue which puts you off. Also the air con fan settings, you can vary the temperature but the intensity of the fan is full blast or off (according to the engineer and receptionist) so if you don't like air blowing in your face turn it off and sleep with the balcony door open if you feel safe enough to do this (and have no sleep walkers in the party as the noise outside is finished by around 12.30 am.Some nights are windy so you might need to jam the doors with the balcony table and chairs. This was the only negative, but sometimes its small detail that can lead to a chain of events with larger issues. Apart from this we can recommend this hotel and it needs a tiny bit of tarting up with some tile replacements etc.

Room Tip: We had a junior suite room 408 with nice big kitchen, sun first thing in the morning, large bathroom and shower and was pretty quiet.

The rooms in the hotel are excellent, lots of storage, bathroom massive with fab air con. The maids came in daily so really clean. Hotel staff helpful and polite. Free buses to water park and beach frequent and on time. Great for families especially with smaller children. Not too much to do for older kids. Food plentiful with lots of variety but not too warm! There is a microwave! No one got ill so good hygiene. Would recommend this hotel
