“DONT COME HERE”
Reviewed 2 May 2014

Went for all inclusive arrived at the hotel looked lovely to start with, our room looked ok clean and as we were only sleeping in it we wasn't bothered, went for our first breakfast all the food was cold, juices was the worst I've ever tasted only thing that was eatable was egg and toast, for the evening the food was worse only thing you could eat was chips and boilt rice, even though it was loads to choose from it was vile and ALWAYS freezing. no snacks during the day by the pool was only set times, and ice cream had to be payed for the deffo not all inclusive, then the pool in the hotel was freezing, couldn't even stand in it it was that cold, was always empty as nobody could stand in there, indoor pool was also freezing could not go in jacuzzi too cold also and really smelly, smelt vile! Had to pay for caps to even enter the indoor pool which was another scam€3 each, also have to pay €5 each to use the sauna. In the gym the running machine was out of order. Had to pay for the internet as soon as we got there as didn't even have it in the lobby that cost €12 yet another scam! They then wanted €10 for a tv remote and had to pay $15 per person for a towel deposit and €1 a day, and that's not all you have to pay for so clearly not a all inclusive hotel the only good thing was the beach club, even though you had to get a shuttle bus down as long walk as it's not in the hotel as shown in pictures, all the pools we're still freezing couldn't stand in them never alone sit, but the food was a bit better. Would never come back!

Thank initially having chosen our hotel to spend a few days holiday.
As for your repeated complaint on which the food is cold to remind you that there are several areas of the buffet where besides have hot plates have been some casseroles with a lid.
In addition to the time is always a meat and fish on the grill and in the breakfast pancakes, eggs, tortillas, depending on the day.
Schedule snacks hot is from 12: 00 to 18:30 with a varied menu

The indoor pool is a constant 29 degrees Celsius, perhaps insufficient temperature for you. The jacuzzi maintains a constant temperature of 38 degrees Celsius.

For the payment of certain services, they are published and they are known when booking through any agency or directly on our website.

I feel that his experience was not satisfactory, and ask a new opportunity.

Stayed at Holiday World 'Holiday Palace' self catering for 5 days. the room was clean and the cleaner was in everyday, great outdoor pools should check out the Hydro Hotel Spa within the complex it is quite expensive but well worth treating yourself, we were there as a couple but lots to do for kids within the complex, take them to the beach club has loads of water slides & wave pool plenty of places to eat and drink, bus stop outside complex cost us 1. 33 euro on the bus to Benalmadena 10 euro in a taxi
Reception staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble

Room Tip: Room 125 large verandah and quiet

Dear family, thank you for choosing the Holiday Palace hotel to spend a few days holiday.
Also thank the positive comments about the staff.
About distances to Benalmadena, inform you that there is a bus stop to the entrance of the complex, 8 minutes walk a train stop which takes you to the Centre of Malaga, Torremolinos or to the airport, in addition to the Taxi.

Tnaks again for your comments, i hope to see you again in the future.

I booked self catering at holiday world, but after reading reviews about the hotel's position, upgraded to all inclusive. This cost €644 for 2 adults and a child and was worth it. The food was quite good and varied and the rooms really nice. The cleaner came in every day and there was a large balcony and large bathroom. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I would recommend getting the train or bus to holiday world. On the downside, the swimming pool was really cold and the beds were uncomfortable. Our little boy left his favourite teddy in his bed and I have emailed the hotel to see if they have it, but am still waiting for a reply.

Room Tip: The rooms higher up would be quieter as we were on the second floor and it quite noisy.

Dear customer, thank you for spending a few days with his family at our hotel.
Thank you also for your comments on the facilities and staff, will be transferred.
As for the loss of his son Teddy bear, I feel that it does not receive response in the hotel itself, understanding that this was not found, but they should have contacted you.
Thanks again

The hotel had an awful smell the aroama of sewage from the entrance all the way to your room. The staff were helpful but didn't really understand english. There was not much to do after the going to the beach, swimming in the pool,a few games of mini golf and paying to go to the beach club . Also for a family of 4 you soon realise the in house restaurant is a pure con and it is there to take every penny you have. If going to this hotel go all inclusive because the closet restaurant is a bus journey away (if you don't want to eat at the hotels restaurants) . I only came back today and personally would never go back even if you paid me. And the restaurant plays music till midnight which you can hear from your room also the sound of the chairs from other people's rooms all night to keep you awake.

Room Tip: Don't go there

Dear Shoaib, thanks to having spent holidays in our hotel.
Admittedly, our resort is specializing in all-inclusive, but this subtraction so that customers who come in other regimes, have possibilities both of purchase in our store, use the snacks, restaurant, etc. vending machines In the complex there are a total of 25 different selling points, to which you have access, obviously, paying a price.

Walking towards Fuengirola you reached the first restaurants in 15 minutes, you can also go by bus (it catches at the entrance of the resort), hire car in the hotel itself, use the taxi etc

I feel that your stay was not entirely satisfactory, and I hope to return to see him, this time in all inclusive which seems to be the option that should choose to stay.
Kind regards
Jose Gª Vico

This is the second Holiday World Hotel we have stayed at, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised after seeing some of the reviews how good it was.
Food: In spite of what some people have reported, there was a varied selection of good quality food to suit most tastes. People need to remember that they are in Spain and things are, and should be cooked the Spanish way. There was always a selection of fresh meat, fish, and fruit. The snacks available from the pool bat were excellent, and freshly prepared.
Room: The room was clean reasonably well equipped, but not the most spacious, when you have an 11 year old and a 15 year old. However it was cleaned every day, fresh towels if you needed them, and a reasonable size balcony.
General: Unfortunately for the last 2 days of our holiday the weather was not so good, and this is when the location could be a problem, but a 12 euro taxi gets you into Benalmadena. There was some entertainment, not great, but ok.
The drinks were generous measures, and some were branded. The bar and restaurant staff were efficient and friendly, anyone finding them any different, may needs to look at their own attitude, I have nothing but praise for the staff. The hotel showed a number of Premier League and La Liga matches, in a separate room, on a big screen, so no disruption to the main bar area.
My only issue is that wifi had to be paid for and only worked in public areas. Not the end of the world!
