“Holiday Bliss”

What a great hotel, it really blew us away. We've stayed in many hotels around the world but this one is special. As other reviews have said, Benalmadena Pueblo is a beautiful nook in this part of the world. The hotel continues the beautiful and relaxed vibe and ensures you leave your holiday feeling relaxed and very happy you visited.

There are lots of lovely side streets and views down to the sea and nice to have a stroll after visiting any of the very good restaurants only 1-2 mins walk away from the hotel. There is also a small shop next door. And a gift shop on the square ( Plaza d'Espania) where a lot of the nice restaurants are too. Lots of live music there also. ( especially one talented man with a harp).

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean with a tv ( not many English channels) and breakfast was very good. There is a pool and a sun terrace and a nice area to sit if you want an evening drink.

The staff are really friendly and we have to say a big thank you to Jose who was particularly kind and helpful especially when my husband was feeling unwell. Jose made sure he provided us with advice and brought food and drink to our room which was really something.
Thanks for making our trip unforgettable.

We spent our first anniversary here and we will definitely be returning again soon.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

What a find, recommended by friends, a lovely quiet place, conducive with my advancing years! By far the best hotel I have stayed in - the bedroom with terrace was excellent, as was the dining room/terrace, with a beautiful choice of breakfast goodies. So peaceful, the room was very well appointed, no extra fees for the fridge, safe and a clean towel for round the pool and sun terrace, which you could have changed every day if you wished. I can honestly say that, apart from the fact that I was with some of my favourite people, it is a also a favourite place to be revisited as often as possible.

Room Tip: Rooms with terraces as the views are spectacular

Just spent a week here and loved every minute. This hotel is a great find away from all the regular tourist spots near Malaga. It's perfect for chilling out on a quiet sun terrace or by the pool, and is definitely more for couples.

The rooms are clean and air conditioned. They have a safe and a fridge. The shower had good water pressure. We had a sea view one and it was definitely worth it. The location is raised up from the coast so the views are stunning.

There's a tv in the room but the only British channel is Bbc world.

The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, you can order eggs and bacon, and help yourself to coffees, juices, breads, pastries, yogurt, cheeses, cold meats, and fruit.

There's a great sun terrace and separate pool area. The hotel provides towels for this.

A couple of great restaurants are a minute walk away, Fuenta and El Nino. Good British pub nearby called the Bull, and a couple of nice relaxed bars on Calle Real. There's a small convenience store almost next door.

It's not too far from the airport, about 20 minutes drive. We rung the hotel before we got there and they arranged the transfer for us.

Fabulous hotel in a very beautiful village. The reception area is most impressive, check in was nice and easy with professional and friendly staff. Our room was immaculate with a wonderful view overlooking the coast. There is a pool and a roof area to soak up the sun. I would honestly rate this hotel as 5 star, if you're looking for a relaxing break this is the place.

this is as perfect a piece of paradise you could ever find in this very tired part of Spain. DO NOT BE PUT OFF that it is near Benalmedena (or Torremolinos). It is so far away from an English Fish & Chip holiday that you could get!
We were lucky enough to have booked the only room with the private terrace but the roof terrace and pool area were so quiet it wouldn't have mattered if we had no terrace although spending a late evening with a bottle of wine (under 2euro from the shop next door) watching the ever changing sea view was well worth the small extra cost for this room.
The best bar/restuarnat of the imediate are has to be Bar Mason Pepe adjacent to the Church. With a Tapas lunch and beer for 4 euro and a evening meal with wine ( and the complimentary 'small' brandies for 25 euro this was just the best place to be! Whilst we were there we celebrated my 50th birthday at the most expensive restaurant 'La Perla' in the village. Wow! what I can I say the food was to die for and although it was around 60euro for the two of us it was expensive for the area ( but not overall). This included a complimentary appetizer and chocolate macaroons brought with the bill.

All in all I would recommend this hotel and the area of Benalmedena Pueblo to everyone who feels that Spain or the Costa De Sol no longer holds any attraction...yes it does....but if you don't want to go then I can keep this magical place all to myself.

Room Tip: room 203 has a private south facing terrace with 2 sunloungers and a table and chairs...worth paying...
