“Excellent Hotel”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. It is good value for money - there is no way you would get a hotel of this quality for the money in England. The rooms are lovely and beds are really comfortable. The bathroom was the best - with a big stand alone bath, and a massive walk in shower. The toiletries were also great - everything you could need: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tooth brush & tooth paste, razor and save cream ... the list just goes on.
The breakfast was also really good (we didn't eat dinner at the hotel) with a large selection of cold meats, cheese, pastries, cereal, fruit etc, and freshly cooked hot food to order. Plus there is a selection of good quality coffee (nespresso) / tea / juice (in individual bottles) and cava available.
The sun loungers are really comfortable - shame the pool isn't heated, but the Jacuzzi is. The whole pool / outside area was lovely and kept well with great views.
All the staff at this hotel are excellent - they will do anything they can to make your stay special.
Only downside is: no heated outdoor pool and a charge for the spa / parking (25 euros per person for Spa and 15 euros a day for parking). However for return visitors the spa & parking is free - and we would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: All Rooms will be lovely in this hotel.

Dear 30scouple14,

Thank you for your comments! We are always delighted to read that our guests leave our hotel with very good memories. We recommend you to try our restaurant during your next visit so that you can enjoy our new menu and its gourmet courses. Regarding our luxurious Oshum Spa, it is usually offered to our repeated guests, therefore, should you wish to visit us again, you will be able to enjoy a relaxing hydrotherapy circuit with the climatised dynamic mineral saltwater pool and pressure jets, sauna, turkish bath, bi-thermal contrast showers, ice fountain and a magnificent area of relaxation where the stresses of everyday life will simply drift away.

With our best regards,

Sara González

Just back from our 2nd stay At Aleysa.Absolutely brilliant again,Priscilla,Caroline on reception & all the staff made it wonderful yet again.Food lovely, everything just spotless. Would be nice if pool was heated as it was too cold to get in, but the Jacuzzi was warm. We got the hotel car to and from the airport which was great also. Looking forward to another stay here next year. Thank you everyone at the Aleysa who made our stay wonderful.

Room Tip: Superior double with sea view on jardines level

Wow - what a nice hotel. Pure luxury at the price of a very average hotel in London. To start the room was fab with a queen size bed, even better ensuite and a amazing balcony overlooking the pool with proper lounges. The breakfast had everything anyone could want and the evening meals in the restaurant were good although menu was fairly small. The staff were more than friendly and efficient. As other reviewers have pointed out, this is a 5 star hotel in a 4 star resort but it is this that makes it amazing value. I would come back to this hotel again.

Stayed at this amazing 5 star beachfront boutique hotel. The 2 young ladies on reception (Priscilla and Sophie) were friendly and professional and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. They upgraded our room from a Superior Double to a Duplex Suite with sea view which also included the use of the amazing spa. Definitely choose the half board option as the food is superb. They deserve 10 out of 10 for Location, decor, facilities, food, staff. Just perfect. Will come back.

The Aleysa is a Fantastic Hotel with Fantastic staff. Booked our Holiday with Priscila (Guest Relations) who was most helpful. I said our stay was for my sons 18th Birthday and Priscila had obviously taken note as there was a bottle of bubbly on ice when we arrived in our beautiful Duplex suite. My Husband son and myself were made to feel very special during our 10 night stay. Thankyou to Diego and all the staff including the chefs (The Food was amazing) in the restaurant who were very attentive and professional at all times. Also thankyou to all the staff who cleaned our room daily and did an excellent job and not forgetting Susana who brought us a little box of chocolates every evening with a card showing the next days weather forcast.

All I can say is if you were to stay at the Aleysa you will have a very relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings and if the weather is not so good they have a lovely Spa .

I could go on and on about our stay at the Aleysa but I know its all the fantastic staff that make this such a fabulous hotel. I must mention which I think is very important is the beds and pillows are the best we have ever had in a hotel at home or abroad as it is the one thing we always find fault with when we stay away from home.

Thankyou to Priscila and Caroline and all the staff for a very enjoyable time it made our sons 18th Birthday all the more special as he too loved every minute of our stay.

Priscila we will be in touch again soon to book for next year so look forward to speaking to you .

We were vistting our family in Benalmadena, with my wife and 2 kids.
We stayes In September, off peak season, we had booked a damily suite and paid 460€ per night,

Breakfast was extraordinary, room very nice and extra clean, location is very good.

We expected to have real beds for the kids for the price we had paid.
Unfortunaley, they only had sofa beds. Hence the low rating on sleep quality.

Disappointed again when we visitted the spa and were told that we had to pay a supplement to visit the spa (25€ per pax per day top of my head). Disappointing based on the name "Boutique & Spa".

Included in the price, you can access the private beach and get vouchers for sunbeds. However, we only received 3 instead of 4 sunbeds, as our 6 years old daughter was not "eligible".
To me, this is cheap as she paid the same price as her older sister, and honestly, in does not cost (or save) the hotel a penny.

Last but not least, as I checked out, and presented my Amex card, the employee asked me if I could pay with another credit card.
Although they accept Amex, I understand that they charge more fees and that the hotel management wanted to save some money on the transaction.

To me, this part of the experience was frustrating.
Of course, it is not the endo of the world, but we all know that the devil is in the detail, especially when you pay the price and expect the best.

Dear Pascal_Lux,

Thank you for your review after your stay in our hotel in September. Your opinion is important to help us improve our services.

We are glad that you appreciated our wonderful breakfast and our whole new facilities. However, we are very sorry that you left with a feeling of disappointment since our staff and philosophy are 100% oriented to the customer satisfaction.

We would like to highlight that the sofa beds in our suites duplex are in perfect conditions and the mattresses used are very comfortable since our hotel only provides high quality furniture, constantly maintained and renewed (i.e. our mattresses and pillows menus).

With reference to the sun beds on the beach, we would like to inform you that this is an extra complimentary service that we offer to our guests on summer time which we do not invoice to our guests although the space reserved on the beach is not property of the hotel.

We are working to improve the quality of this service for next summer by increasing the number of sun beds available and getting them even closer to the hotel. We are committed to offer high quality and make the stay of our guests comfortable. Therefore, a new Jacuzzi will also be available on the garden area, facing the sea, in order to create an even more relaxing and pleasant environment.

The free access to the SPA is a courtesy of the hotel for our repeated guests and you would be very welcome to use it should you book again with us.

Finally, we would like to confirm you that we do accept, with no difficulty, payment by American Express credit card and we are sorry for the misunderstanding you obviously experienced.

We look forward to being able to welcome you again in order to reach your complete satisfaction.

Yours sincerely,
Sara Gonzalez

Me and my wife are just back from a short stay an the Vincci Aleysa. We are more than happy with everything at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and very nice. The food was also very good. Good location with lovely views and good access to the beach.

Our only regret was we couldn't stay any longer.
