We booked this hotel as a last min thing for 4 nights during the half term holiday, I must admit after booking then reading the reviews I was a little concerned to say the least, but I'm pleased to say that my theory that some people will moan about everything and anything is still intact. This hotel is fine, the rooms have a great view are spotless clean and have everything that is needed for a successful holiday, a majority of the food at all 3 meal times is cooked in front of you so you can see its fresh and they cook the meat to how you want it. There are about 5 precooked dishes which perhaps have a continental flavour but the rest is salad, fruit, pasta hardly aimed solely at the Spanish, German or Russian guests has some people have implied on here. We found that if you speak to the staff politely you are treated politely and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. all in all we feel this hotel deserves its 4 star rating and not a lot of the bad comments on here, very misleading. a couple of little moans though, the Wi-Fi is all but useless in every part of the hotel, the hotel is a little out of the way but in saying that its on a very good and cheep bus route in a very relaxing area, and lastly the management should really stay late one night and see what they are paying their entertainments to team to do, although the majority of the entertainment is in Spanish you soon get the idea that its very very very bad. would I go again? yes I would very much so. We are a couple in our late 50s

Room Tip: Try to get on floor 11 and avoid floors 7 and 8. when you enter the hotel at street level you enter...

Hotel is fine if a little way out from Benalmadena but only 10 mins on bus for 1.55 Euro. Had a superior room which had 2 double beds which were comfortable enough and plenty of room and storage hangers. Fantastic sea views over the beach and jetty. Pool is 2 mins walk with beach bar and plenty of beds and sunshades. Hotel was clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff spoke good English and bar staff less so although the best one was from Columbia and he was very good. Entertainment wasn't up to much and mostly in Spanish but we generally sat outside and made our own entertainment.
Breakfasts were very good - cereal, breads, cold meats, bacon, sausage and delicious omlettes cooked to order. Dinner was just OK but became a bit same old same old after a few days. We were all inclusive but ate out 3 nights - Chinese (Shanghai) and Italian in Benalmadena and once at the Mirimar Centre. All about 10 Euros per head including couple of drinks.
Overall a decent hotel just let down by the food.

Room Tip: Go for a superior double with sea view. Also don't go for floors 7 or 8 as that's where the...

We stayed a week which included half board. Hotel itself could do with a good lick of paint but is still clean and tidy. Unfortunately the staff, bar 2 of them could speak english so asking for help to the nearest bus etc was painful. A lot of miming and hand gesturing was involved. The beds were rock hard so tried folding towels and blankets to soften them but it did not help. I was told all beds in Spain are like sleeping on concrete! The food was very different and I'm happy to try anything new but didnt touch a lot of it, mainly geared for the Spanish/germans so i am told which is a shame. We did have a lovely sea view but was spoilt by people on their balconies smoking and spoiling the clean air and beautiful scenery we were trying to take in. Don't get me wrong we visited lots of interesting places and the hotel did not spoil our holiday but it could have been
better.

Room Tip: Dont get one neat the elevator as pings all evening. Ask for a room on the opposite side of the outs...

i was the same as most about this hotel (not sure after reading reviews) but couldnt realy fault the place some reviews said rude staff i dont think so from the reception to the cleaners all had a smile and couldnt do enough for us,it has been said before but the views have to be seen to be belived from all rooms, the food was of a very good standard at least four meats and two fish to chose from every night ,pork steaks ect cooked infront of you not warmed up like most hotels, two soups each night but one of the choices was there four nights still it was not to bad, plenty of sweet choice fruit, cakes ect but the best was the pancakes cooked as you asked for them put suger and caramel sauce on it and eat with ice cream very nice, breakfast was normal spanish hotel food smoked bacon, hot dogs ect eggs cooked fresh beans and plenty of cold stuff if you wanted it.i read on some reviews about the entertainment not to good but 90% of the people were spanish so it was ok for them. the location of hotel was perfect for us but if you want 18-30 nightlife you had to bus it to benalmadena only five mins away and busstop 50 yds from front door cost you £1.20 . out door pool was ok only 150yds from back gate not 20 min walk as one review said ,diddnt go in indoor pool as weather was good so went in sea a lot
rooms were better than expected clean two double beds mini fridge that you dont pay extra for even though some say you do all in all a top hotel tha i would go back to anytime

Room Tip: we stayed on floor 9 try for floor 11 the top floor because you get a bit of noise from rooms above...

We spent a nice week there, I cannot complain. I am not going usually to the big hotels for my holiday, this place has all advantages and not advantages of the big hotel, but the stay there was a nice surpise.A good location between the big tourists centres (except a main road, but all rooms located to the other side with a sea view), quiet season (October), very clean and pleasant beach. A good choice of the food (just the grilled meat shoud be softer!) Good service, pleasant staff.

Room Tip: Higher floor ( reception is the 8th floor ). Number of the rooms from 8 - 9 at the floor ( not the s...

Just come back on Sunday with my husband I didn't really what to expect after reading reviews, well I must say that I was very pleased on arrival staff very helpfull and efficient when checking in.We were on the 11 th floor what an amazing view of the sea and the beach you could just sit there forever watching the people fish, I really cannot understand why people say that the food was awfull as it wasn't there is lots to choose from for breakfast we even had champagne just get the chef to cook you a nice fresh omelette the choice was endless also the evening meals were excellent mulitifull of choices and plenty for everybody just go to the griddle and get your steak cooked to your liking ,staff in the restraunt were so busy making sure that all the guests were catered for.Our room was spotlessly clean and the rooms were cleaned everyday .We also hired a car to go to Nerja for the day which the receptionist ordered that for us ,while you are there you must take a trip to Gibraltar what an amazing place just like England in the sun but very cheap. The Hotel may be a bit out of the way but you can just jump on the bus outside the Hotel to take you into the town where there are plenty of shops the prom is a lovely walk plenty of cafe bars and the beach is also lovely.Go and see the Marina where there are lots of boats and if you want to you can go on a boat trip to see the dolphins. All in all a great holiday and will return .

Room Tip: The 11th floor is the best we stayed in room 1102
