“Not disability friendly”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

I arrived at the hotel to find our booking had a mistake we had to wait for over an hour for my room to be ready. I had pushed 2 cases 2 hand luggage and a wheelchair from the bus drop off, when we got my mums key no directions were given to our room, and no help was offered, i had to struggle into a tiny lift with my mum and wheelchair go to her room and go back up to collect my luggage from the floor above. When i eventually got my room, i was very happy with it. and the lovely sea view. The hotel was very clean. The cleaning ladies came every day and did a good job. The bar staff and waiters were lovely and friendly, and knew our drinks after a couple of nights, waiter service was good on an evening as i was with my mum in a wheel chair. The food was average, i have had better at a 3 star hotel, The rooms were great all with a sea view. Reception were not very helpful. No bus time tables, no leaflets for things to do. The hotel was miles from anywhere, only a couple of small bars and a little shop just down the hill from entrance. Although we didnt find them for a few days.Entertainment? id rather have watched paint dry, Bus service every half hour, very rude bus drivers. If you have difficulty walking or in a wheelchair this is not for you. very steep hill down to pool and beach. also no ramp to bar terrace in main hotel, i had to lift wheel chair up a step every night.

Room Tip: They all have a sea view. floor 7 is the restaurant floor. and 8 is reception so these floors can be...

Stayed here a couple of nights while on a tour. Presumably a typical Costa del Sol hotel but very nice with all the bedrooms facing the sea with good balconies. The staff were all friendly and helpful and service was quite speedy for such a large hotel. On our departure morning we had to have breakfast very early but plentiful supplies were left out for us and good packed lunches provided. There seemed to be plenty of parking at the hotel but there didn't seem to be much to do in the town and you were a little distant from the larger resorts, but all the same, a good place to stay.

This was our 6 the visit to the hotel the last time was six years ago and we were pleased to see not much had changed even most of the staff were still the same, we were given two rooms next to each other we did request a connecting room but this wasn't given which meant due to the age of the children we had to sleep in separate rooms. The rooms were disappointing one room the door looked as if it had been broken into at one point as the whole framed moved when you opened it plus the safe didn't work in that room, then we discovered the bath had a huge crack running right along the back base of it which was not safe for the children to use ( the hotel obviously knew about the problem with this because when we asked for a late check out we were told we could only have the other room as that one needed some repairers and they weren't joking as we prepared to leave they had pulled out the bath and was replacing it in my opinion we should have not been given a room that needed this much work done) the second room was a little better although the door to prevent sound from the hallways didn't close the toilet constantly dripped and the underneath of the bed was rotten and torn. We wasn't going to spend the week complaining so we decided to make the best of it. Thankfully the rest of the hotel was fantastic the food was wonderful as we're the staff so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The beach and pool are amazing and overall we had a fantastic time I would recommend this hotel but maybe a little reluctant to return considering the room quality is not up to standard

We stayed in the hotel 7 days in May 2014. Hotel is big and old, not so much renovated. The advantage is that all rooms have see view. Service was not on high level, two people on reception were not able to manage all requests and the queue was almost all the time. Some waiters spoke only Spanish, time to time not easy to make an order. Rooms were clean and maintained properly. In general we found average value for money.

The staff are very friendly and very helpful, every room has a sea view, you have two private beaches, the food was lovely, there was happy hour 6-7, the staff was ver helpful with feeling my baby's bottle up as and when needed, the rooms where very clean as was the bed sheets and the maid came in every day to clean and make our beds, the kids club was super, the pool was great, and everything was very private ie the gates to get out to the beach was for residents only,I can not say a bad word about this hotel,it should be a 5 star. Very happy and will be going back next year.

We arrived at this awful hotel and the staff were very rude and unhelpful. We were given our door entry card and told the room number, no details were given about the hotel amenities at all. When arriving at the room the fridge was not working and smelt of neat bleach, the door mechanism to the balcony was broken and there was an awful whistling noise in the room. We phoned reception and asked for a member of staff to come to the room to show them all the problems with the room but they refused and told us to go back to reception. On arrival back at reception the receptionist did not understand about the problems with our room, she soon understood when I used the word RUBBISH !!!! We were then moved to another room which was opposite the lift and all you hear day and night was the lift bell. The other guests staying at the hotel have no respect at night as they all stand in the corridors shouting and laughing until the early hours. This hotel is miles away from everything therefor you have to get a bus or taxi to get anywhere. The food was not really up to much either so thanks god we were only there on a B&B basis. We will never return to this hotel.
