I have just come back after a week at this Hotel, The Room was clean and comfy, but skirting boards need attention. We had a pooland sea view which was lovely. The food was good with a variety of choices, you could always find something you iked. The waiters who took you money for drinks was grumpy and could do with a lesson in Customer Service, other thatn that the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautifully kept, we spent a bit of time just sitting on the benches. The evening entertainment could be improved, with more on a Friday and Saturday eve, we found it a bit drab. The bars and restuarants around Belanmenda are loveley los of ex pats running them. All in all we had a nice holiday. Must visit Miyas.

The food is excellent at this hotel, if you do not like the food would not understand that as the choice is endless, something for everyone. Yes the rooms need a bit of a paint job in places but the room was spacious enough two double beds, very clean, room service to keep it clean excellent. We will be returning to this hotel. The only hicup was the air conditioning which needed to be sorted and it did take a while, as they said they do not put on the air conditioning normally until June - but hey we got it. Some good entertainment great bar near the pool, and sauna and shower rooms in the Excercise room. Excellent bar across the road Elderado which has live music every night of the week and kareoke for those that enjoy it 3 nights a week. Great crowd nice people at the hotel and the bar opposite also very close to 24hr square for those that wanted it and Bonanza Square up a bit of a hill but only 5 minute walk. Buses run into several different places, Torremolinos and Malaga, good bus service and very reasonable prices just on the main road 5 minute walk also. Great place very central to everything and sea views. GREAT HOLIDAY

When you check in you do not want to go to rooms to the left, they have no drapes only black out curtains, toilet too close to bath very hard to sit on 1 small self to put your toiletries on thats falling off the wall. plug socket hanging off the wall reported 3 times before fixed. We did get moved after 3 daysit was an improvmentthe bath room was much better but the balcony needed cleaning it was full of bird poo had to take care when puting towels out to dry.Reception staff need some customer service training they dont have knowledge of local buses or taxis basically you are just a nuisance to them. restaurant staff very efficient but no SMILES they dont speak to you foods OK Just. The pool area is painted RED good colour for attracting the heat very slippy sun shades fixed and falling to bits, 3 moveable ajustable sun shades for 500 rooms? love the resort will return again after all been going to this resort for 17 years but will not return to this hotel very dissapointed

Room Tip: When you check in at this hotel you do not want to turn left from reception the rooms are apalling n...

Just got back and had a lovely time, great location. Only stayed on B&B basis and was happy with the food selection on offer. Did'nt pay over the odds to stay there but it was great value. Good facilities, decent pool, plenty sunbeds. Lots of stunning restuarants in area and very reasonable prices. Rooms are ok, cleaned daily so no complaints there, we were with two other couples who all agreed it was a great holiday.

I returned to the Hotel Sirocco with the man I met in belanmadena last year and then married and we spent a fair bit of our time in this hotel so we went back for our anniversary, well what can I say - this hotel brought me some luck!. Its a decent hotel if a bit dated. Two single beds pushed together was not as good as the two double beds we enjoyed last year but we had a better view. The maids didnt bother us as much this time by charging in whether invited or not! It rained for two days which wasn't good as we only had three days there! However, a nice place for a holiday and the hotel is in an excellent location. The Jolly Pirate over the road serves nice food at a reasonable cost.

Room Tip: The ones on the left side overlooking the garden area have sun all afternoon, the ones at the very f...

booked a single room here for a short break visiting friends . to be honest the attraction was the seemingly bargain tariff and i chose to go bed and breakfast though the half board option was only about a fiver dearer for a 3 night stay . i arrived at 10 am and was told by a friendly receptionist that my room would not be available till about 12 . 30 .This was fine by me so i went for a little poolside refreshment . the pool area itself was nice enough , clean and fairly spacious with a pretty garden area separating it from the hotel itself . i knew i was not likely to be in my room other than to shower or sleep and as the price was so low had no unreal expectations . That said , upon entering a distinct aroma of stale cigarette hung in the air , my view was the carpark and everything in the room a was a little jaded and it made me wonder if they perhaps allocate the inferior rooms to the solo traveller . the balcony was small and overlooked a large wall and the aforementioned carpark area and the walls thin enough yo hear the conversations of adjacent guests . i dont recall a fridge or hairdryer and the T V remote did not work and thats about it for the negatives . on the plus side the hotel is handily placed for the lovely marina and beach , the 24 hr square is a short walk away but not close enough to interfere with sleeping and theres an abundance of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budjets in easy walking distance . Others have mentioned a steep incline from the main street to the hotel entrance but its not too severe and only about 70 yds . breakfast is served 8 am till 10 and on the one occasion i managed to stir i found it to be reasonable enough , the usual continental fayre but a bit more extensive , yeah it was quite good really . cant comment on the standard of catering at evening but as already mentioned the difference between bed n breakfast tariff and half board was minimal for my stay and if this is typical it might be worth looking at . All in all i would say this hotel offers a reasonable standard of accommodation at a relatively low cost

Room Tip: avoid the car park view if you can
