Well where do i start, just returned from this 'hotel', its terrible, the staff are incredibly rude, unless you are spanish, rooms are not cleaned properly, the food is awful, we paid for all inclusive but it was a waste of money because we then had to go out to eat because there was absolutely no way i was eating what they were offering. We asked for a transfer on the second day only to be told it would cost us a minimum of 375 euro each then more to upgrade to all inclusive, after what we had already paid for the'holiday' this wasn't an option unfortunately. The sunbeds around the pool were dirty, well worn. I would say this is a hotel by the spanish, for the spanish. The location of the hotel is very good however right opposite the fab marina, excellent choice of restaurants/bars/shops, local ferry to fuengirola. i would in no way ever return to this hotel.

Room Tip: find a different hotel

Second time I have stayed at this hotel.1st time was my sons stag do and this time was with my wife
.Had a great time on both occasions.
As other reviewers state the food is nothing great (breakfast was best) but apart from that the hotel is very friendly and accommodating. We could not fault the staff who were friendly and helpful
Location was great for travelling to other places, close to public transport.
I would recommend All inclusive if you intend having a few drinks at the hotel
If you want a quiet break you can always book into a convent.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the pool

The hotel is very clean good location for harbour and beach night life close . Do not stay if you like good food even though is it a 3star food is not good snacks by pool side are limited and only on at certain times , the hotel is very. Very noisey at night if your room is on street side it echos and sounds very loud the doors to the rooms bang so you can here everyone go into rooms , the hotel have a lot of hen party's and they do not think about others , the hotel is for Spanish holiday makers only , the entertainment in day is good for children but very poor at night . If you have walking difficulties or in a wheelchair like we had in our family don't go ,to get to restaurant you had to use service lift and go through kitchen or use fire exit . They only have 12 fridges in hotel so don't expect one , the place is very hilly both ways out of hotel , the hotel only had 2 ramps for wheelchairs and the wheelchairs don't fit into lifts to rooms you have to take the leg rests off . The house keeping is very good rooms are clean , if you like fish fingers and burgers for dinner its good , when all inclusive you have to sign for ever drink you have . On leaving my son was asked by manager what he though of food told the truth as kids do said could be better manager did say they are going to improve as when I spoke to other guests they had complained as well .

Just returned from The Palmasol. What a fantastic holiday with a mixed age group of 9 of us from the ages of 1 to 64. We certainly cannot fault the hotel or staff. They made the little one feel at home. All our rooms were next door to each other and a cot supplied. Not a meal went by without a great choice from Spanish evening and special Fish evenings. Children Loved it. The Pool is very safe for children and sun beds fairly easy to acquire. Lovely positioned hotel close to the Marina for an after dinner stroll. Room cleaned daily and really tidy hotel. Pool activities were a bit hit and miss. Lovely Marina and a chance to see how the other half live. Excellent Air Con in the bedrooms and when the temperature is 40 degrees outside this is a blessing at night.

Room Tip: Ask for a Pool View to avoid noise at night. Music does finish a 12 Midnight though

Just returned after a weeks holiday at the Palmasol. Reception was not the most welcoming, we arrived at 12.30, and we were told our room would not be ready until after three. Had a Road side view, overlooking an ugly derelict building and it's really noisy in the early hours. Food was average, nearly broke my tooth on a piece of pork. We were all inclusive and had to sign for every drink. Outside sitting area was very pleasant and pool was great, apart from the towel gang, up at 8 to claim their place and reserve four sunbeds at a time. Hotel full of Spanish people, gang of Spanish lads in room next door, really loud.

Have to give credit to maids, spotless room.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view

had a fantastic holiday at the Palmasol. Room was cleaned daily, food was the best i've experienced at an all inclusive. Lots of variety each day. 5 minute walk to the beach and shops. Small square where all the bars were if you wanted to go out in the evening. This was only a 5 minute walk, however away from the hotel so you don't get any noise. The pool area was lovely and you could always get a sunbed. I would definately come back here :). We visited aqua park whilst there however it was very busy and lots of queues. You have to pay for the rings if you dont want to wait and the you have to put a deposit down for the lockers.

Room Tip: we had a swimming pool view which was nice

The food was great the rooms were comfortable (the air con was fantastic) the pool area was very nice and there was no need to fight for sunbeds. A two minute walk to the marina for shopping etc and a five minute walk to the beach and tourist train. I am a regular visitor to the area and don't usually book with hotels but this one was fantastic. I had a lovely holiday. Although the Spanish visitors in the hotel were quite rude generally speaking.
