Just returned from a 6 night stay at the Bali. What can I say. Everything was just spot on. Lovely staff who all worked their socks off everyday. Good food always something that you like. We're all inclusive, we found the drinks of good quality, especially the Bailey's substitute. Entertainment on every night. Not always to everyone's taste but you can't please everyone. Good location . Bus stop just at bottom of hill to all other majo resorts.
Will definitely be returning again.

The weather has been perfect . 6/7 days of clear skys with a temp of around 80 degrees . Paid £780 for 1ad 2 children all inclusive for a week . Flew with ryanair , on time as always . Everything booked with travel republic. If u want a good value family holiday on a budget this is the place

we found the bali hotel very good value for money. the food was good and plenty to chose from. it was warm and the staff were always pleasent. the room was a little on the small side but was suffient to our needs and kept very clean. If you go all inclusive and ask for a packed lunch you will be amazed with the amount of food it contains. we were on the topfloor(7th) and had a great view over the harbour it was lovely I have no problems with this hotel and would stay in it again.
There is only one thing and it is not about anything in the hotel It is the steep hill one has to walk up to get to the Bali, although one could always get a taxi

We have just returned from a weeks stay at The Bali Hotel. I requested a room with a sunny balcony and a good view and my request was granted with room 2417, which had a lovely view of the sea as well as one of the pools. Although not a very big room, it was adequate for 2 persons.
Rooms had a television in them, showing English channels and news channels.

We were All inclusive and found the drinks to be of a good standard ( the vodka was quite strong! ) and the food was adequate. I would have preferred more salad choice, but that is a personal preference and not once did I leave the restaurant hungry.

The evening entertainment wasn't up to much ( Bingo, a magician, etc ) but I found the entertainment room quite a relaxing place to be,
after our evening stroll.
At the beginning of the week, the hotel was half full of Spanish senior citizens. They were far noisier than a hotel full of children! Not a complaint though, as I found them quite entertaining and
lovely to see them having a good time. ( British government, take note! )
The bar staff were amazing.....very pleasant and efficient no matter what time of the day. I particularly liked the guy who called me sweetheart and winked at me when I ordered a drink, especially when Hubby was watching! Ha Ha.

Cardiac Hill......Yes, I can understand why it is called this, but it wasn't that bad really. Felt it more after being on the beach and climbing 80 steps from the prom to the main road beforehand, especially when we did it several times in one day.

We thought the area behind the hotel was dismal, broken pavements, dog mess and several bars for sale or boarded up. The beach, the Marina and Paloma Park were all lovely.

We travelled by train to Malaga, a wonderful service and a great day out.
We also walked to the far side of Torremolinos and back again via the promenade. A very pleasant walk and there is a super shopping centre there too.

Although The Bali is in need of a refurbishment, it is cleaned daily. If you can get it at a bargain price, then go for it, just don't expect 4*, it is a 3* after all!

Hope this has helped.

Room Tip: Block 2. Pool and sea view. Level 2 if you don't want to climb any stairs or use lifts. A highe...

Unfortunate we only took a short 5 day break (21-25 oct 2013 ) after reading the reviews I was a little apprehensive on what we would find.
We traveled In a large group of 18 (6 under 16s)
Ok the hotel is situated up a steep hill we took our time and had no problems I personally found it easier to miss the steps and carry on a few yards and walk up the drive but it never put us off going out.
The beech is directly opposite the road from hotel again with a good amount of steps nothing even the old folks couldn't manage
Lots of shops localy and I would recommend that anyone who like the shopping to walk to the harbour and look round there there continue into toromelenos, stunning shops and lots of them
Now the hotel gets thumbs up from us.its a huge place 3 hotels in one I found it very clean with a massive amount of staff all keeping busy, lofts in ever part so you don't need to use the stairs if you don't wish to. Very wheelchair friendly.
3 swimming pools pool one seemed to be quieter with a pool bar backed on to the main bar open from 10 am - midnight all manned by helpful friendly staff. This is also where the games room is found with pool air hockey and some kids machines. This is where the bigger pool ( deeper) was as well and lots of sunbeds and seating along with small baby pool
Down on the lower level was 2nd pool that seemed to be the busier pool with sea view another pool bar with restricted opening times and snacks served while restaurant was closed
Along with a baby pool on a lower level away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger pool surrounded by grassed area
Again plenty of sunbeds and a covered sitting area. Also a crazy golf area was located here.
Along with the 2 pool bars that served snacks there's was a large restaurant. I've read many reviews saying the food wasn't upto much. I found that to be totally rubbish. We were all, all inclusive so we used the restaurant 3 times a day every day. Breakfast consisted of sausages eggs bacon beans etc. Along with cold meats and cheeses a good selection of cereals toast/bread coffe tea and fresh juice and a selection of fresh fruits.
Lunch and dinner had plenty to choose from. No I didn't like every dish but I didn't expect to and there was no restriction on what you can have or how much. Quiet simply help your self to something if you didn't like it throw it away and get something else from the hot or cold buffet including a good selection of deserts and ice creams. I can honestly say I was sick of food by the end as I've never eaten so much.
Rooms. We had all our rooms on the same level. Level 0 in bali 2 all the rooms were pretty much the same and were perfect. Beds weren't the comfiest but we all slept well. A bath with over shower sink and toilet a good sized balcony that had plenty of room. Free air con. A safe a hair drier and tv with English channels. We didn't have any English channels at first but mentioned it to staff and they came and sorted it straight away. ( previous guests and retuned to Spanish only channels) although we didn't come away to watch tv it was nice to watch local ( to home ) news etc and just have it on when we were in the room. The rooms are there to sleep in and store our stuff. They didn't have to be as good as they were. Cleaned every day and bedding changed Dailey. Rubbish removed n freshend up.
Over all we have all said we were more than happy with the hotel and costs etc. We went knowing we were going to Spain so expected things to be done differently than in the u.k
So would we recommend to others. Most certainly
And will we return??
100% only next time were hoping to get 2 weeks.
Underrated good value for money
Thank you bali hotel ( staff and guests) for giving us a most enjoyable short break.
